Exactly! Plus, I have no qualms returning it to the store so I can get my $ back right away. No waiting for my box to reach and eventually be processed at Jax or whenever things go. This is well within Coach's return policy. It also saves them shipping $.
I do tend to return to a store where I don't normally shop. That store is also bigger and carries more things than my local one. My items are always fully wrapped or the same way I received them. Imo it should be no harm, no foul with Coach. We'll see.

Same here. I always had that rude manager trying to act like I wasn't supposed to return it there, but I ignored each time knowing it was in the return policy that it can go there. lol. One time I mailed back and didn't get my credit for a while, and it made me too nervous with that much money at risk.

Yes. Too long a wait to get my $ back. I have enough to think about in my regular life.

Now that they closed all our retail stores and won't allow me to return at the outlet, I'm more afraid to order. Once I returned 3 items to JAX and only got credited for 2. When I sent an email, they corrected it, but I don't know if that was just a courtesy refund or if they realized they had made a mistake. They were small and inexpensive. They might not do that for something expensive.

Even when you tell them that you're returning because it is damaged, they still write "changed mind."
 
When my dinky 24 was on backorder CS told me what stores had it in stock and to call and give them your order# and they can fulfill on the store level - maybe your boutique can do the same? Of course all the dinky 24 left at that time were in Canada so my order ended up getting cancelled...

It shows a shipping label was created on 21st but has never been picked up. I got impatient and ordered online at 50% 14% e*bates just to have it end up on extended backorder. I'm afraid if I find a store with it in stock I will then end up with 3 and need to return 2 and be punished for it.
 
They have to deal with me returning what I don't want for any reason, just like the policy says. If the bag looks like it's been through the wringer or used then it's going back. Maybe I would return less if I could actually see things in a store but since the nearest store is 6 hours away, they can deal with returns. The semi local Macys and Nordstroms doesn't even carry 1941 items which is what I have come to like the most.

The store can pull and fulfill the online order, you wouldn't be ordering again, at least that's what CS told me, but I don't know how accurate that is.

My orders that are coming from stores showed labels printed last week but not leaving the store until yesterday and they were both supposed to be here today. The other one was shipped by pony express and won't be here until next Thurs.
Same here. I ordered Christmas Eve, label created and "your order has shipped email" received, but UPS hasn't picked up and ETA is next Wednesday. Not sure what store it was sourced from.

So if it takes two weeks to get your item and you have 30 days to return does it have to be in JAX by the 30 day mark or just shipped? You're not getting the 30 days if it takes 2 weeks to get to you.
