You wouldn't have any problem getting the 50 versus 40 if it was within the 14 days. (I had done one for a price change that went from 30 to 40 a while back, and it was no issue). But I think if you got the 20 off, since the 20 off is not still active, I am not sure how that would work. I was thinking the 20 off was specific to certain days and not price adjustments, but I could be wrong.

This was my thinking also.

I’m so mad. I paid a full price for a dreamer in November and now it’s 50% off. I requested a price adjustment and they said they can’t do it. It doesn’t make any sense because I can just buy another bag and return it with the original receipt. Do you guys think it’s unethical? I’m just so frustrated with a price game that Coach plays and despite I love the product I hate the fact that Coach doesn’t care about loyal customers

If you used the bag, yes it’s unethical.

I’ve always wondered that too. Sorry you have to return it!
No big deal....I'm still unpacking things from moving a month ago and realizing my attention to handbags is minimal. I had little desire to purchase and binged with the extra 20% off but we'll see if I keep them. I don't want to move all this stuff again.....time to purge!

If you didn’t use it, you should return and rebuy. Most PAs are given up to 14 days (except Costco, they do 30 days).
If you used it, well...

I never pay full price. Things go on sale soon enough in today's mass produced world. I've never been one to have the latest release of something. Maybe.....if it is a limited edition with few being made but then Coach has pitched that before and then mass produced winding up at outlet at severe discounts. I guess if you like it price may not matter. Sometimes you win; sometimes you don't and in the end it evens out...

I received one of the items I ordered with the 50/20 recently. It was an item that was shipped from another store and it was not in good shape IMO. It was the oxblood rivet clutch and the flap had lots of wrinkles in the leather. Makes you wonder if these stores send out their worst looking one and save the better ones for in-store customers. Could have been their only one....either way, it is going right back. They didn't even include a return shipping label so I had to call for one. Off I go to the UPS Store.....
my oxblood rivets clutch was wrinkly in the flap too, but I love it too much to return.

Thanks for your advise. I would never return anything used. My complain I guess is the company does waterever they want with their pricing. They convince buyers that this particular style will never go on sale and eventually it goes on sale. Because of their lies the buyer faces this ethical dilemma while the company and people who convinced you to buy their product at the full price a few weeks ago saying that they cannot do anything. How many of us heard “oh no, it will never go on sale”. I guess I’m one of the naive buyer who will believe in these fair tales So, is it ethical for them to look straight in your eyes and lie but it’s not ethical for the buyer to turn around and do the same stuff the company did? I was venting about it and if I wanted to turn around and switch bags and use the old receipt I would do it without talking about it here. It’s just absetung when I imagine throwing away almost $400.

Sorry it happened but every coach item goes on sale. Sooner than later

No because the prices with 40/20 are less than the current 50. Example Charlie I paid $168ish after discounts and her price for Charlie is showing $175. Maybe SA can work it out, but I wouldn't count on it.
I had a similar situation with a FOS order. I used a coupon, I think it was 10%. Then prices of the items I bought were lowered. It was still the same sale and hadn't shipped yet. Other people called and got the correct price reduction. The person I spoke to and their manager never understood. They reduced the prices of the items but refused to reapply the coupon, saying I already used it. So the reduced price wasn't much at all since I didn't get the coupon discount too.

Ah yes I see. I should have just waited for it to go to 50% and then ordered with the 14% rebate. I was impatient but I know if I would have waited then the rebate would have went back to 2% and I’d be annoyed I didn’t take advantage of the extra 20% [emoji23]

Ugh, I don't understand Coach. Boutique tells me there are over 100 in stock but my online order is on backorder. Here is the response from online CS.

Due to the overwhelming response to this collection, your order is on an extended back order. We apologize for any disappointment this has caused. Please let us know if you would like to wait for the item or cancel the order.

So which is it? Over 100 or extended backorder?
