Whenever I tried to buy the two items i want from them (malachalite earrings and a hammered yellow gold bracelet), I've been told they're wishlist pieces. I don't have money to buy stuff I don't like, and I don't have time to resell the things I don't want. It's super annoying
I def haven’t heard that before, but I have been told items are hard to find. I recommend searching online periodically or calling customer service to help. I haven’t had any great luck with any SAs so I understane your frustration. Good luck!

A lot of pieces were on freeze, which means SAs were not allowed to order, including hammered and some earrings, etc… freeze started to be lifted on some items now in US, I don’t think your SA clarified this to you! You can reach out to the online customer service to ask if you are able to order now or if they can allocate the pieces for you!
Wish you luck, you shouldn’t but anything you don’t like as others said not Hermes yet!!!!

That’s so strange, the SAs told you this? They are standard collection pieces and should be available, and generally they will allow you to put down a deposit to order it. The hammered has been very popular as of late so I can understand a bit of the scarcity but if you’re set on these pieces and are located in the US you may want to try contacting the online customer service for them to locate these pieces for you if your local boutique doesn’t have them in stock.
This was in London. Also no luck on Long Island. Called customer service a year ago to get on the waitlist and heard zero back. I work for a living, so don't have time to chase a company to give them thousands of dollars lol

I recently got my guilloche earrings from a store but they shipped it to me. No gray box but I got the jewelry box, which I'm happy with. I'm used to getting a travel pouch and in the past when I didn't get one I would call customer service and they were very good about mailing one out to me. So I did exactly that. I was told that now the eboutique sends out the jewelry box and at the store, you have the choice of either the travel pouch or jewelry box but NOT both. Has anyone else heard of this? Apparently it just started last month in Feb.

VCA has lost their status of superior customer service.

I recently purchased from NYC and was told they were out of travel pouches so I was given the box by default. The SA said they were waiting for the new version of the packaging that was just the travel pouch but that I could come back and ask for one once they got them in store. When I tried calling customer service I was told something similar to @cwoni that in store purchases got either the box or travel pouch but not both. When I purchased from the e-boutique I got the box and was able to call to request a travel pouch be mailed to me.

Could someone please post a photo of the travel pouch and the cleaning cloth? I have several VCA pieces but I’m not sure I’ve ever gotten those! Thanks in advance.

The travel pouches come in different sizes depend on the product, but here's a link to the cleaning cloth, it's just a thick cloth made of polyester/microfiber blend, it's nice to have but not a must.

I only learned of this change today and it's so disappointing! I mean, it's not the end of the world because honestly, I don't really use the boxes anyway and they take up a lot of space, whereas I use the travel pouches constantly. But at this price point, to be told to choose? It's nice to have the option based on what works for you rather than just a unilateral change, but I also find it a little offensive because after plunking down all this money you're being told, "Well, you can only have one but not the other." And you know VIPs will still get both (which I understand, but still . . .) :annoyed:

Agreed! Allowing the clients to choose their prefer packaging would be ideal, especially when we want to purchase something as our very 1st piece of jewelry from the brand or as a gift for others.

That must have been so frustrating for you to hear! As @tenshix says, this should not be the practice with VCA (and in some places could actually be against consumer protection regulations). Perhaps it is an individual SA or boutique going “rogue” and trying to increase their sales this way? Which I find absolutely awful and could turn off a lot of new customers.
In addition to contacting online customer service, see if you can visit another boutique (if there is one close to you) — hopefully you will meet some SA that does not force you to play games. There is a thread on SA recommendations so maybe you can also post there to see if any suggestions for your area.
