I’m not the type of person who cares a lot about packaging. It’s always the product that matters to me. But… this looks just ridiculous to me. It looks like something I ordered from Etsy

Wanted to give an update, got my online order came in velvet box and no travel pouch. Called VCA to request a travel pouch and it shipped overnight.
I made a purchase in the boutique today (NYC 5th Avenue) and received the old packaging. However, my SA said they did not have any travel pouches and keep running out because they receive so few. She mentioned that they are still transitioning packaging and will give out the original until the change is made completely.
Made a 2 purchases across the street today (from the NYC 5th Avenue VCA Boutique) from Rose Dior Pre Catalan collection. Gorgeous packaging inner box with creamy white velvet inside to showcase the jewelry and outer silk boxes and silk ribbon - classic luxurious packaging. I will not stop buying VCA of course, just wish they would not skimp on luxurious boxes and pouches. I'm unboxing my two new peices right now and the packaging is giving me the chills - it so simple and elegant! I was charged .05 for the Dior shopping bag, but that's a NYC thing I believe.

That’s exactly what my friend’s 5 motif packaging looked like! When she was showing me the box I thought it’s a box of macarons that she got from her SA

They basically just boxed up the existing travel pouch….. It saves them a lot of money to not give the velvet box but the presentation is so cheap, how disappointing.
Lord why VCA! Why! This looks like something you get off etsy now!
Honestly I've gotten way better packaging from my Etsy custom jewelry. VCA needs to do better

I died when I saw the bracelet wasn't even securely held in place by the travel pouch. I shudder to think how much of a beating the bracelet took during shipping.

This was the one pouch/packaging update I was looking forward to because the travel pouch for bracelets are not practical at all.
And they didn’t even do that.
Looks like they made travel pouch worse
My bracelet is out for delivery right now. I’m still holding out hope it’s in the old packaging. FedEx tracking says the package is 7lbs, so fingers crossed.
