This is what my SA told me! He told me SF was one of the cities to have the new packaging and had started back in October. And SF was picked because it was more “environmentally friendly” and more ppl would be accepting of it.That question has been on my mind. I think major luxury jewelry brands would do market research analysis on consumers' reactions to new initiatives/products rolled out by competitors. Even for VCA, I wonder if they might have picked selected US and Canada boutiques to first roll out these new packagings because the general populations in these regions tend to be more open to accept new ideas related to ESG initiatives (other than EU). Well, if many customers in the US and Canada markets are not very receptive of the new packaging, it's likely that many customers in other regions might not be fond of the new packaging either, IMO.
