Is there such thing as too much bling?...lol. I really loved the idea of putting this halo ring next to my existing wedding band, but a few peoples reactions gave me the impression that it is tacky or too much since my wedding band is rather wide/ blingy. Ps. The diamond I purchased is a 1/4 ct bigger than the one in this setting and I have worn my wedding band as a stand alone piece until now.... Any thoughts from my fellow jewelry lovers???
^there's no such thing as too much bling!!! I think they look stunning together.

I realized that I never returned to post pics after I got the diamond set....Here it is on my finger. Eventually I may get a narrower band to pair with it, but I will be blingzilla for now:p
^I love this look...congratulations!!!

Am I too late to chime in an opinion?
First of all I love the set, both wedding band and e ring, and I'm a big fan of halos. Sometimes I get the occasional lust for simpler settings especially on days I 'm casual in jeans etc but that's not too often.

My opinion is this: keep your set as it is. It is gorgeous, and not "too much bling". Of course there is a time and place for everything, and sometimes both your rings on the same finger will be too much so you can do what I do and wear them on separate hands. I never take off my wedding band, and I usually pair it with 2 eternity rings. I wear the e ring on the other hand because I can't wear them all together on one finger, use it more like a cocktail ring. Depending on the situation I will add or remove something depending on my mood and where I'm going. Hope my opinion is useful.
Again I love the set and the halo, no need to change anything :D.
