We all judge. Now everyone is judging the OP for judging. I'm sure the OP did see some questionably dressed people. Just let OP think what she wants whether you agree or disagree.

+1

We all judge, consciously or not. Although I can't agree with OP calling women "trash" simply by their looks, I think some of the comments here are a little harsh.

When I read OP's rant, I felt offended. I am not bashing her but I feel if I am one of those people she's referring to as "trash" how would I feel? Anyways, I have a neverful in damier ebene and I love its vasatility as well as its carefree nature as compared to my other designer bags such as Chanel and other more expensive LV's. Regardless I never feel less love for my Neverfull just because it is too common, as a matter of fact, if I see one using one or another LV I feel quite happy because I know there others out there like me who appreciate and love the brand the same way I do. As a matter of fact, I feel more judged wearing a designer bag sometimes because to some, it looks very pretentious and materialistic. Im sure OP can read all our responses. Its just sad how condascending it is considering it is a Neverfull an extremely popular bag. And like one said if she wants exclusivity, Hermes is probably the brand for her.

I'll try to make this rant short... Yesterday I was at the international mall in Tampa fl... I literally counted 30+ Neverfulls, and I lost track of how many speedy' sand other LV bags [emoji20]

The range of women were from business women, soccer moms, young single girls, and a staggering amount of trash (idk how else to describe it, but everyone has an idea of what trash looks like)... Anyways it got so bad that even my husband stated to point them out.

I've always loved the Neverfull, my casual kinda throw around bag, but after yesterday I kind of want to sell it. I've heard it referred to as "the basic b*tch bag", which has always bothered me because 1000$ for a bag is anything but basic in my opinion, I work damn hard for my bags [emoji58] & YouTube hasn't helped at all!!

I know I'm all over the place, I'm just trying to express my annoyance, it's hard for me to enjoy LV at all anymore because it's everywhere, and it clearly doesn't represent class anymore. My husband says to branch out into other brands, has anyone else done this for the same reason??

OP, I read your first post and didn't find it to be offensive, but this is clearly an emotional topic for many. If you go into many of our other popular subs, you will find the same kind of discussions and passion for the brands.

I am neither pro- nor anti-LV. I don't actually own a bag from them, but have considered a Neverfull for its workhorse uses. So far, I haven't taken the plunge, but I do own a bunch of LV Sprouse shawls and Murakami scarves that I love.

To me, LV is a classic, identifiable brand with a rich history and that's one of the things that makes it so popular – and a smart investment!
As with many luxury brands, its equally "lux" pricepoint also adds to its popularity because it is aspirational. It says "I like fine things." Some people like that they connect with strangers through their LVs ("hey, i have one too!"), while seeing so many can also be a turn off ("hey, you have one too?").

A couple of years ago, I fell in love with Mansur Gavriel and was able to score several when they were REALLY hard to find. I loved the bags absolutely, but I also enjoyed the fact that I was able to carry a HTF bag. Is that tacky? Maybe to some. I don't think so though, and that's what counts.
Now that they are definitely more accessible and I do see them often, I still carry them. But if I saw 20 people at the airport with them?
I might just decide it's time to move on.

You're not crazy to ask in my opinion.

I may be crazy but OP's post made me laugh! I've been having a stressful day and it provided some comic relief. I totally get it about NF 's being everywhere. I have three of them and they're my most used bags. Trash is probably a strong word but I was kind of surprised at how this post fired everyone up. I live in South Florida and it does bother me to see butt cheeks or more (unless I'm at the beach) out shopping or when I'm getting ready to bite into my burger at the food court! Lol

I sympathize for you, OP. Everyone jumped on you, whether it was called for or not.

Though I might be one of those people you'd hate to see while I carry my Neverfull (and that's your right), I worked hard for my bag, it makes me happy, and it's such a great bag. I sometimes wear some pretty damn short shorts! But, I worked hard for my nice butt, it makes me happy, and it's such a great ass! But even if everyone else had a great rear end like mine, I would never sell it.

Louis Vuitton is ubiquitous, especially the canvas pieces. So if you want exclusivity, you need to pay for it. If you're buying what LV considers "entry-level" bags, you can't be upset that other people are too.

In California, everyone and their daughter has every canvas bag you can think of (and Vernis almas). It doesn't bother me at all, I knew that before I starting buying LV.

So true, I'm in the SF Bay Area. And the only thing I think when I see someone else with a Neverfull is "That woman has taste!" and usually we share a smile. Someone else having the same bag doesn't diminish mine in any way. I enjoy it for me, not for any sort of status or image it might give me. I just love my bags!!!
