Have been reading nearly all threads regarding finding the dream bag(s) in Paris. Some advised to go straight to first SA available to ask for a birkin and some said do look at other bags first before asking. Just wondering what is the strategy that is working now? Am planning to go in early Dec, and I'd like to get a dark colour birkin 35. If I don't get one, I'd get a Kelly, or Lindy and hopefully place a SO. Any thoughts on chances to get the bag I want if I'm staying there for 3 days? TIA :)

FSH is closed on Sundays and they don't recive bags on Saturdays, so if you are able to find a bag on Saturday is just a very lucky find! :smile1:

Just go straight to an SA, as fast as you can :smile1:

Urgent help required! I am going to FSH on Thursday. 1 time in the last 4 years! Can someone recommend me a good SA? Does anyone know their SM's name? Please PM me if you have any information. Many many thanks in advance. I want to find a dark Birkin plus belts etc. Shall I ask for a Birkin straight away? Any help will be appreciated!

Hi guys,
just want to know a little more details, since probably i'm gonna run inside the store pretty quickly. Where is this handbag section exactly? somebody said it is right up the stairs in front of the main door????:confused1:

NO, you don't need to buy anything you don't want to buy.

If the only thing you want is a Birkin, just go inside, grab a SA, and ask in English for the available Birkins.

i believe FSH now operates on a queue system. so you go in and wait in a line until the next available SA. no more grabbing SA :D

If you get there when the doors open there should be no waiting line. It must be a new thing, since i was there in november and they opereted as usual....

i've been to all three today.

and found george v to be easiest to manage since it is small and one SA can work with you for all of your purchases.

the one on rue de sevres feels like it is more geared towards home goods. i believe i only saw SO kellys on display. and there were few SAs...

FSH is a madhouse with many people and many SAs and while all of the SAs i encountered were polite, there is a separate SA for each department.

hth!
