DH and I went straight to the bag section - having very little time on our hands...since I was already resigned to the high probability that I would not be able to get a birkin that day, being a saturday, I initially asked for a kelly pochette in exotic (I love and collect them too:love:). the SA checked the computer and told me that they had none available with gold hardware and asked me what else I needed. I thought....hhhmmmm...she asked...it's a sign! that gave me the courage to ask for a birkin with gold hardware, preferably an exotic - either croc or ostrich. she went to the back and came back with two boxes to show me. lucky enough, one was the exact colour combo I was looking for, a shade of green (vert fonce, in this case) with gold hardware. and sorry, I do not speak french :shame:...and I also made no other purchases that day.

Have been reading nearly all threads regarding finding the dream bag(s) in Paris. Some advised to go straight to first SA available to ask for a birkin and some said do look at other bags first before asking. Just wondering what is the strategy that is working now? Am planning to go in early Dec, and I'd like to get a dark colour birkin 35. If I don't get one, I'd get a Kelly, or Lindy and hopefully place a SO. Any thoughts on chances to get the bag I want if I'm staying there for 3 days? TIA :)

Hi,

May i ask if a trip to FSH in late Mar early April a good time to go for H hunting? I do not plan to buy any other stuff besides a Birkin or a Kelly and a clic clac.

Hi, can anyone confirm if it is better to go on a weekday to FSH or weekend? Planning a holiday in Mar. I was there last in dec and all their bags and scarves was gone by christmas. Hoping better luck this round.
