i noticed people saying that there are more birkins before xmas, but does anyone know about after xmas?
i plan to fly into paris on the 27th dec to 2nd january.
is this a really bad time to try and find a birkin?

Hi - A couple of questions: Does George V get two deliveries a day like FSH? Will be on a hunt for a Birkin. I am landing in Paris on a Monday morning and trying to decide if I should scramble to try to get to FSH before it opens at 10:30. Or whether the afternoon delivery is the key. Any suggestions?

I don't claim to be an expert but I have done my share of "Birkin hunting" in Paris. I was there about a month ago on a Monday morning and there were no shipments when the store opened at 10:30 am. They didn't receive any shipments until that afternoon. The SA told me to come back around 3 pm. I did and got my new white 35 cm Birkin. I am not sure that every Monday is the same but just thought I would share.

It wasn't me buying the birkins, it was other (happy) people. I actually went in there to buy something for DH No need to play games, just be nice, polite and I think you will have more success getting what you want.

Congrats on the White Birkin Leah, for me usually also the TIME issue twoblues, early in the morning is a good chance and sometime around 230 to 300pm is also good. For my routine usually is to wait at FSH when it opens, if nothing then I'll stroll to George V, then browse around that area (Ave. montaigne, George V, Chp.Elysee LV etc....) then hop back to FSH right after lunch, then you'll see birkin starts to seek out from the back. I'll just be asking for something other then Birkin the first time, and I had scored 4pcs just like that...haha
it willl be my first time to go to paris and Hermes FSH this May, I sure would love to make the trip so memorable as to score a birkin. What is the stock situation lately, are birkins more available now thatn before the recession?
