I am so sorry to hear of this tragedy. My condolences go out to you, your husband, and your friend's wife and family. I wish I knew what song she is talking about. If I find out I'll PM you.

I'm so sorry this happened... I don't understand why people think driving drunk is okay. :sad: *HUGHUGHUG*

I'm looking for the song as well... are there any other lyrics at all that you know?

I'm sorry guys...that's all she knew! She's w/ her close fam right now so don't want to bother her. If my husband and I get a chance tonight, we will either see if we can visit or call her. I'll ask her then but chances are we won't talk to her til tomorrow.

I don't know that it's the song you're looking for though. Sorta the same meanings though. That's this GNR fan's two cents. And Sheryl Crow covered it a few years ago, which is probably why you associate it with a female artist.

Jasanna, I am sorry for the loss that you, your husband, and your dear friend's wife have to deal with. I know how you feel, around a month ago, April 1 to be exact, a girl from my circle of friends was also killed by a drunk driver. She was 23, turning 24, and about to graduate from law school. The girl who hit her was so intoxicated she was going the wrong direction on route 66, which is a major highway in Virginia!! No punishment or sentence can be enought to make up for a lost life...:cry:
