my mom had hers done when she was 15...she still has it (she is 33)....she said it didnt hurt at all, but she is good with pain.... she wears little banana hooks...she has a flat stomach, so it looks okay, but my mom looks more like my sister than my mom....

i had mine done when i was 15...i'm 29 now. I took it out when i was 7 months pregnant since my skin was so stretched i thought it would tear....put it back in after my son was born.
i think it's cute....although n oone but me and my husband see it :)

I had mine done when i was 18. I took it out more than 3 years ago because I finally realized that I was allergic to the metal. I also realized, after seeing other girls with it, that it wasn't really "me". I regretted it because the hole still hasn't closed and I have a scar from it.

I have quite a few piercings. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so none of them hurt.

I had mine done 15 years ago. I had to take it out mid-way through my pregnancy b/c I didn't get the pregnancy piercing in intime. Despite that, my whole remained in tact and I didn't really get any stretch marks, so my piercing is back in.

Both of the attached shots are "belly shots" from when I was pregnant with the 2nd shot of me being 14.5 weeks pregnant. Otherwise I don't normally take photos of my belly or piercings. ;)

Yep its done, its been done for about 6/7 years now.
I have thought about taking it out but just never get around to it. I dont change my ring anymore but used to do it weekly.

My friend and I are thinking of getting ours done. But some ppls own more than one belly button ring, and I used to think that you could always like take one out and then put a different ring in, like, whenever you wanted, like you can if you get your ears peirced, and I was so wrong, right?? But there's so many different belly button rings, how do you choose the one to stick with, if you can't change them like you change earrings??

I've had it pierced twice. It migrated and had to take it out both times. The scar tissue, when I got it re-[ierced, hurt a little to go through, but, it didn't hurt that much to pierce it, either time. It's not the prettiest thing right now to look at, since it's not got twice the scar damage lol, but, I wouldn't say it looks hideous, you can just tell it got pierced and didn't heal correctly. Oh well...I'll prolly try for a 3rd time and if it doesn't work then, I'll give up. I just feel like something is missing when I don't have it. I got it first pirced when I was 18, and again this summer when I turned 20. I guess I'll wait for it to heal and pierce it again at 21 lol.

I had my belly pierced when I was 18 & I'm 22 now. My ring came undone a few months ago & I forgot to replace it so I just assume it closed up but the hole is still really prominant. If it has closed up, does anyone know of any way to reduce/get rid of this scar?? If not I am seriously going to regret ever having had this done. I feel like it is a huge ugly scar!!
