I have mine 4 years now (I'm 22) and I love it. I think mine is very unique: it's as simple as can be: clean and silver. No little butterflys hanging from my belly button, no shining stones in my piercing...

Ow, it didn't hurt. Well, you feel them poking but I expected more pain...

I have had mine pierced four times. Once when I was 15 (this was before the big craze as I am 30 now) and my parents made me take it out. Then after I moved out of my parents. Then I got pregnant with my first, took it out. Had it doen again afterward. Then had to take it out AGAIN with my second pregnancy and have since had it done again!! This time it took about 30 minutes, hurt like a ***** and I bleed a ton as I had some much scar tissue. I obviously love it.

On one of my purse pics you can kinda see mine now I will see if I can find it.

I got mine done when I was 18 (I'm 25 now). I wanted my eyebrow, but my Mom said she'd pay for it so long as I got a piercing that couldn't be seen on a daily basis-so I went with my belly button.

I've had it so long, I sort of forget it's there. I'll take it out eventually, and most definitely by my 30th bday or if I suddenly develop a gut!

I got mine done in 1996 when I was 16...my mom came with me lol she had to sign the permission form. It didn't hurt for me...its quick you just feel a pinch like when they draw blood.

i got mine done at 17 and took it out about 2 years later because i didnt care for it anymore. four years after that and i still have a hole!!!! the hole bothers me so much!

I got mine pierced about 8 years ago, and although I've wanted to take it out I haven't (for the simple fact that I used to run a business selling body jewelry, until I grew bored with it, and alas have a ton of belly rings)

Oh, and on another note; You don't really need to take your belly ring out when you become pregnant, unless you're experiencing problems with it. What you do is replace your regular belly ring with a long flexible PTFE bar. PTFE is 100% nickle free and harmless to your body.

I had mine done about 7 years ago when I was 16. Most of the time I completely forget that I still have it. However, I'm so used to it that I think that my stomach looks weird without it.

Other than that, I only have my ears pierced.

I have mine pierced and love it. I think it looks good and adds some character to a naked body! :p Although, if you're planning on having children after you pierce it, be aware that the hole will stretch during pregnancy and look very ugly...
