It's no secret mousselines are my favorite format as well. I'll have to go dig through my pics for ties. But, like lanit- I tend to keep them up close to my face.
Just as MYH said, you can fold up the 140s in to a quadrant, and because it is thin, you can tie it to be more like a 70, and this is great if you like cowboy styling.
@frou frou- you can also do exactly the same thing with a 90. Fold it in to quarters and it's about the size of a pocket square, but with more body. WIll do a pic.
As with all my scarves, I alter the tying method to suit the clothing. When I use a cowboy styling, I always make sure to wear something either fitted, or interesting and edgy, or I think I look to conservative with a loose shirt paired with a drapey cowboy. It's just not a good look for me. If I wear a loose shirt like a sweat shirt, I opt for a very fitted scarf like a twilly or pocket square as a chocker to balance a loose shirt. Also, if I am wearing a shirt that has a rounded neckline, I tend to avoid wearing my scarf with long tails and use that look with deep v's instead. So for me, I try not to give myself rules or limits on what designs I might buy, but instead let the clothing choice (and also the time of year) suggest and influence the tying possibilities. I'm lapping up my accordian cowboy now, because in a few more months, I won't want that much folded fabric near my neck!
Here's Quadrige stole wrapped a few times, and tied simply. Loose-ish sweater with a rounded neck. so no drapey tying. I like this look on me.

Here was a mistake: Same loose-ish sweater, but twill scarf with a long tail. Not my favorite look for me....Makes my shoulders look more slopey.....

GM mousse with a v neck shirt. Long tails work fine here....
