Omg.... I just checked my 6-months old wg bracelet (new screw system) after reading this, the stoppers on the other end of the screwers were gone, both of them!! Have no idea how it happened and when...
I'm taking it to the cartier store this week! Never had any issues with the old system.

Omg what do you mean the stoppers?? Oh noooo!!

So, I called corporate and no one would talk to me. They said they do not deal with after sale care, only the boutiques do. It is up to my store to help me and no one else.

I know when inquiring with VCA, I was able to speak with corporate, but not with Cartier. I am rethinking future purchases to be honest.
My store manager is very nice and a good person, I am hoping he comes through for me.

That sucks!
Do you still deal with the Cartier store at K of P?
I don't buy from there anymore because all the SA's aren't very good!
Really Tosh? I know you are a good client too!

Funny that KOP Cartier was mentioned. I had a big problem with them a few years ago regarding a price on my ballon bleu. Ultimately I ended up getting it shipped from Dadeland, Florida - I think! For the amount of money the Love costs - you should have it replaced by Cartier with a brand new one. Call corporate office in New York. I'm sure that they will take care of you. Good luck!

WOW, more KOP problems. :(
No, Corporate will not even take my phone call. I just got off the phone with customer service and she said there was no one to talk to. LOL.

I would definitely be rethinking future purchases if I were you. You actually have me doing the same. I do not think that Tiffany's or VCA would handle this situation in this manner. I believe a NEW one should have been offered to you immediately!

Oh no, I'm so sorry this happened to you hun! It makes me so mad to hear corporate won't help you!!! You would think they would bend over backwards for customers when a problem with a faulty item is presented! That doesn't sit well with me, I really dislike Richemont with all of the price increases they have and the lack of good customer service throughout their luxury brands! Good luck and don't take no for an answer :hugs:

At this point I'd be getting a refund and being done with this brand. That is NOT acceptable, and that would really kill the need to replace it for me. There have been a few posts that indicate a lot of serious customer service and workmanship issues with their stuff lately, especially eng rings ("set for you") or whatever it's called. Their service has TANKED. For the LUDICROUS prices they charge for this stuff...not acceptable.

sjunky13, my RG with the new screw system kept falling off too. Thank goodness I was home when it happened. The screws kept coming loose (within 24 hours) no matter how many times I tighten them. I took it to my local store and of cos they said they have never had any problems. Regardless, they took it in and send it to NYC for repairs. Anyhow, it came back after 2 weeks and no one could tell me what was fixed, wth. I had the SA screw on the bracelet for me in-store. The SA tried to pull it apart to test it and I had DH do the same. So far, it has been 4 days and the bracelet is still nice and tight. I purchased my bracelet last October so it is under warranty. They polished it for me as well so it is very nice and shiny right now. I hope that Cartier will take care of your problem. Good luck!

I agree 100%. This is only 3 and a half months old!!!

I agree, I am very very sad! :(

At this point I'd be getting a re
fund and being done with this brand. That is NOT acceptable, and that would really kill the need to replace it for me. How would you get a refund AME? I purchased it on thier red card.

So they will fix it and not tell me what is wrong? Not cool! Ughh, so many problems with the new screw system. I have never seen anything like it.

I was planning on a 4 diamond love to stack. I love Cartier jewelry. I am just very let down at this moment. No corporate person to talk to, no replacement , a sa saying I may be charged. HA!
Again, the store manager is a very respectable person. I have high regards for his service and he is very nice. I hope he takes care of me.

Wow, so many problems with this new screw system; so sorry to hear about this OP and as well those of you whom have also had problems with it. I agree that Tiffany & Co. would not leave you hanging like this. Their customer service is excellent.

What a disaster! They NEVER should have messed with the screw system. A while ago I posted that I'd mentioned to my SA I was bummed I got the old system right before the new ones came out and she shook her head vehemently and said not to be - that there were issues with it falling off already. SO glad I got the old one now!

And so disappointed to hear how they are handling this, OP. You should demand a new one - I agree with Ame, I'd be inclined to ask for a refund. It's a GOLD BANGLE. You pay the extra huge mark-up for CARTIER quality and service... and if that is unsatisfactory now, then I'd be tempted to never buy from them again as well! Let your SA know you have a LOT of girls to talk to about this and we are all questioning future purchases. In fact I'd print off this entire thread and send it to corporate!! They have the nerve to continually set price increases but won't back up their product??? SO unacceptable...

sjunky13, I am so sorry to hear abouy your bracelet and the trouble that corporate Cartier is giving you. This thread makes me so nervous ~ I purchased my RG Love last Ocotber and it's the new screw system. Please keep up updated!

I am so sorry that you have a defective bracelet and most important of all, the after sales service sucks. I do hope that Cartier will make this right for you. I do not own any Cartier, was thinking of getting something down the road, but after reading this thread, I have decided to stay away from this brand.

Maybe ask to speak with the regional manager. Maybe you can get their name/ number through corporate or otherwise the store. You need to go higher and I would call them everyday, This is UNACCEPTABLE, you paid a crazy amount for a luxury item and are treated like this. It is not right!!!
