Most expensive shoes you own (retail price)?

My most expensive bag is a $17,000 chèvre Birkin. I have paid anywhere from $5,000- $12,000 for several bags I own, but I don’t usually spend more than $19 - $39 on a pair of shoes!! I look for $200 shoes to go on sale and use coupons and store promos. I have a couple of pairs of boots that were $500 and a pair of Brian Atwood hot pink, orange, & grey suede bootie/heel/sandals that were marked down to $200 at Neiman Marcus. Here they are next to my Joie platinum snakeskin heels. So I probably don’t even belong in the shoe thread (hangs head and slinks away) lol. But aren’t the pink shoes cute???!

I have those Atwood heels too!

I’m not sure about my priciest... would likely be CLs that I no longer wear or Weitzman boots that I live in all winter.
Actually, I somehow managed to find maybe the priciest Golden Goose Superstars this week and promptly ordered them, lol!
I hope sneakers aren’t my most expensive! Knowing me and how casual I am, they just might be!

Recently purchased the Christian Louboutin jeweled SoLove black velvet shoe. That was pretty expensive but I loved the
style & the color of the jewels & for me it will be a forever shoe, so it was worth it to me.
As I understand the backstory, this collection was to honor Princess Diana
I also had a custom pair of shoes made in Paris by Mr. Massaro that was pretty expensive
that I still wear today

Omg how cool! I’m always worried the suede ties are going to break. I’d love to see how you style them.

Probably my Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots. $700 & worth every penny, as they’re the only knee-high boot I’ve ever found that’s both tall *and* narrow enough for my long, skinny calves! I also own them in an equestrian style with silver buckles.

I’m an expert bargain shopper & was able to score both pair (unused) for a little less than one retails for. But I would pay full price if I had to, since they’re extremely comfortable, timeless, & well made.
When SW was part of my go-to line, I would shop the Cesars boutique end of July/beginning of August. That is when all the boutiques there have sales. The mark downs are very generous AND if they don't have your size just find a stockist who has your size and will price match.....wishing right now I could wear the Rapture 100.

Au Palace - Christian Louboutin.

A pair of YSL that I don’t even wear. I literally would tip over if I wore them now. Super duper high with a crazy platform. Think Lady Gaga platform lol Or my Rene’ Caovilla’s. Both were way more than I’d spend today on a pair of heels. My CLs we’re expensive too but not as expensive if memory serves me correctly.
