I got the So Kate but couldn't even stay on for 10 seconds. My feet turned purplish-bruised colour (cut off circulation??).
I found out I can only wear pigalle 100, or pigalle plato 120.
These are the 85's but the toe box is so narrow that I thought that I was sold the wrong pair by mistake.
Interesting that you mentioned the pagalle because the SA steered me away from them, preferring the thinner heel.
I wore these awful shoes for less than two hours and now I am stuck with these crazy torturous shoes.
NEVER AGAIN
I suppose if one considers true cost per wear, these are the most expensive shoes I have ever purchased and my Hermes shoes (with the greater acquisition cost) are the best value.

But Hermes lacks the “sexy” vibe. Looking at the Orans, sigh. Comfy, but....
I can’t wear these thinner Louboutin heels at all, they caused much more pain as I tried to balance myself in them by tipping all my weight to the front part of my foot, where the infamously restrictive toe boxes await. So no no to So Kate, Pigalle follies and any newer styles from Louboutin.
I need the thicker “original” heels that Pigalle has.. so I am super loyal to the old Pigalle now.

I should try the Pigalle again.
When I tried them in they were just as uncomfortable ....Beautiful shoes but geez, what good is a shoe that isn’t meant for walking?

You just made me laugh because I can relate.
IMHO Loubies are much more uncomfortable, even. I’m convinced that my pair of So Kate’s were designed by the devil.

I can't do do CLs so I take my hat off to all of you that can

H does sexy shoes. Loving the Tangos for this season for example. I couldn't personally walk in them but they're amazing and sculptural

Yes but every pair of a Hermes boots and shoes I’ve ever purchased are comfortable and worth every penny :flowers::heart:

ITA, they make some great forever shoes

Christian Louboutin suede Cate Boot. I paid 65 percent off at Neiman's Last Call, and I spent about $600 several years ago. So I'm guessing they retailed for about $1700. That doesn't seem right, but that's how the math works out:

Next expensive were probably my Hermes Ovation Sandals at $1100, but I try not to go over $900 for any shoe. It just doesn't make sense:

I also got the So Kate thinking I could wear it and sold it after 1 year for wearing it 3 times without being able to walk 100m (without crying). I then got the Pigalle 10cm that I can actually walk on and is comfortable even for work

What a stunning shoe! You can walk ok in those? Not a criticism please don’t take offense more of an admiration
Hi, sorry I forgot to reply a while ago...
These shoes are actually not too bad, they are not the most comfortable shoes I own but they are “date night” shoes or shoes I wear to go from the car to the restaurant/lounge. I have higher shoes that are more comfortable for walking or wearing long periods of time. These particular ones have a slight platform on them so while I wouldn’t walk for long periods in them, they aren’t horrible.
I am a regular heel wearer though.
PS: not offended at all :flowers:

My most $$ shoes are in the 1200-1400 range
Rene caovilla sandals
gianvito rossi- strappy heeled sandals, suede OTK heeled boots
christian louboutin- python So Kates
and a few others... unfortunately I do not wear them often enough.
I've learned from this and no longer shop for shoes except when my running shoes need replacing. :smartass:
