^^ Yeah that sucks, but just think, you could grow into that...How nice would that be?!

I like it too, I think we should try to convert as many people as possible...

:borg1: Resistance is Futile.

Does Walgreens have this product? I need to try it now!

This can probably be found at all drugstores, WalMart, Target, etc. Near the feminine products like vaginal creams, etc.

I hope so!! She's training me well now..it will surely pay off later.

Oooh! Train us too. I want some the inside dermatologist scoop! I'm 29, it could be too late for me...but I'm still game.

:p

Hehe okay :p Right now, I'm trying to work on drinking tons of water. I just don't like drinking so much water, like when I'm not thirsty. I don't think of drinking water unless I'm thirsty you know? I'm getting better at it though. I've got about 70 days until school starts, I hope by then my skin will more radiant than ever. At least my mom keeps telling me if I continue to do what I'm doing with my skincare routine AND drink lots of water, it will be. *crossing fingers*

^ Your mom is right. I drink tons of water and I get a lot of compliments on my skin being radiant and healthy looking. In summer/warm weather I like to use primer and then bronzing powder because I do have a tendency to get that 'sweaty look'....which is gross. Normally I will sweep a bit of powder on and that's it. Makeup artists are always surprised to find out that I don't use foundation or anything! I'm convinced it's partially good genes and partially habits of exfoliation and moisturization of skin, and hydration of body :D

I don't like how a lot of websites and other resources (including medical ones) regarding skincare talk extensively about topical gels, antibiotics, whatever, and neglect to talk about how important the simple act of drinking water and staying hydrated is!

I'm on the same boat as you in trying to drink lots of water -- I just can't down so much liquid at a time (you know how some people can just gulp down tons of water/juice/soda? That's not me.) and if I don't make a conscious effort to drink water, I will go without it for hours, even while being dehydrated! I swear I was a camel in my former life :crybaby:. I try to have a bottle next to me at all times -- I have a hard time drinking out of anything other than that (no glass, cups, even those bottles for hiking trips/biking.) I know it's not environmentally friendly, but it's the only way I can do it!

Oh, and since I'm way off topic, I just wanna say that I'll be picking up the CHAFING gel pretty soon! The idea is funny...but GENIUS!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a problem choking down enough water! I've found the best way for me is to keep a fast-food cup (large or xl) with a straw on my desk, filled with ice and water. At home, I drink bottled water, but usually put Crystal Light in it. I have not had a Diet Coke (which used to be my staple drink) or anything caffeinated (except chocolate) for about 4 weeks now.

I'm a super hydrator (another made up word for you, Miss Tiss :p) and it hasn't helped me. I'm definitely NOT a no foundation candidate!! :hrmm:

Well actually, maybe it has helped... I guess it's possible I'd have a total pizza face if I didn't drink so many fluids :lawl:

T...Ecru Beige ...just the tiniest bit too pale...leaves a nice dewy finish and it looks really natural, but it's heavy. I feel like it just sits on my face and doesn't really blend in (with or without primer)....makes me feel greasy....
Thanks! That is the shade I had heard was "gray" and perked up at, but if it is too pale for you it certainly will be on me, and I do have oily skin, so you have given me some excellent ponderfodder.

And I apologize for the thread hijackette.

I will atone by pointing out that for anybody who is not aware, any store brand gel product whose "active ingredient" is Dimethicone will work, so those who rock it Old School be sure to take your reading glasses when you go to the drugstore, because ingredients are almost always printed in microscopic letters.

Good for you!! 4 weeks is great! I find that it's easier if I'm sipping out of a glass with a straw..rather than a water bottle. I can be super lazy..browsing tpf while sipping my ice water. GENIUS!

Since we're being off-topic and talking about water (oops, my fault I brought it up!) I drank a glass of orange juice and already downed three 18 oz. water bottles. It's my pretty breast cancer water bottle :p This is a lot for me since it's only 2 and I haven't been playing any hardcore tennis or volleyball. Just been lazing around reading and checking the forum. :D

Now onto the chafing gel, last night when I washed my makeup off, my skin was still mostly matte. My skin between my brows and above the brows looked a bit dewy and my nose was not oily at all.

lol! I'm writing these down for our tPF Beauty Bar dictionary.

I have trouble drinking very cold water. It hurts my stomach. I have to take out a few bottles from work when they are delivered to stash in my desk so they don't get put in the fridge. I've kinda always had a sensitive tummy.

:shrugs:

Ok :back2topic: It's like I have A.D.D. lately.
