I tried the chafing gel again today... just a tiny pea sized amount applied with a sponge, and then EM original glo foundation and Palgantong pearl powder on top. It looks much, much better!!
Exfoliate at least 3 times a week. She said that since you have the MAC volcanic ash, you should use that after your showers. Particularly after longer showers, when you wash your hair for example. Your pores will be opened up more after a long shower from all the steam. Exfoliate with the volcanic ash and make sure you moisturize with a light lotion. She had some product that I used when I had a bunch of little bumps on my forehead last summer..I don't remember what it is. I'll try to find it. You can probably buy it from sasa.com though I think..it's some asian product
also- just exfoliate where the bumps are, if your skin is more sensitive. My mom said last night that she would not use this too much all over the face because it's a "stronger" exfoliant. However the MAC lady that I talked to said this is gentle enough to use everyday. I would NOT use this everyday though. We all know our skin best.
I don't know if you have this in the States, but Lanacane have just released this product Lanacane Anti Chafing Gel
It contains the following ingredients:
"Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel is made with the following ingredients: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch."
Monistat contains Dimethicone, but that doesn't mean they are necessarily the same composition.
Anyway, I've ordered some Monistat from Ebay and I will probably also try the Lanacane. Good news for us in the UK if the Lanacane is as good as the Monistat as we can't get that here.
I've seen this thread and never opened it. Wow, I've really missed out!! I can't wait to buy some and try it. I have SUPER oily skin and need something to help keep it under control. Thanks for sharing!!!
^^ Got it thanks. I think I will wait until I go shopping with DH, cause if someone was to see that stuff in our basket they would simply have to assume it was the man's, right?:shame:
