thanks what are some other resale sites!? i just heard too that the natasha does not have any magnet or anything keeping the top flapp closed? whats up with that.

The PTTM line was discontinued after th e S/S season -- MbyMj stores might still have some in stock, but this was a popular line and most retailers have sold out of the bags -- your best bet would be to call a few MbyMJ stores or keep an eye on ebay

ok i officially give up at this point.. i dont think iwant to spend that kind of money i am seeing for the petal to the metal bags... im thinking of just getting another natasha classic q just in a different color.. i think the bag is more timless possibly.

Seriously - I don't think this bag is more suited for a specific age group. I'm nearly 20 yrs older than you and as you can see by my signature, this is one of the bags I'm waiting for this fall!

I think it's a great style - simple with a touch of MJ (with the gold doves on the front). It's made from lambs leather too, so if anything, I think the sasha has a bit of maturity that some of the other MbyMj don't have.

What color were you considering? If you're worried about looking age apprpriate, you might want to go with the black or brown -- but if you like the other colors, I wouldn't be afraid to purchase and carry it!

Does the Sasha have any magnet in the top flap or does it just hang oveR?

hi thanks! that was great! well i still couldnt see it but i know you have both the natasha and sasha, in black, from looking at recent posts of it. So the NATASHA does not have any thing in the main flap for closure but the sasha does?

No, neither the Natasha or sasha have a magnetic closure for the main flap. The main flap is really big and just flops over the top unless you overfill it, although i've never had that problem. The magnetic closures are on the front birdie pockets to hold it closed and also on the back pocket.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this part of the forum and was wondering if it is possible to find this bag for less than retail? I've fallen in love with it!! Looking through this thread definitely made me want it so much more because of all the lovely pictures.

your best bet to find the Sasha under retail price is on bonanza or ebay. I don't think they make the sasha in PTTM anymore. HTH :flowers:

aww thanks!!! well, that's a shame!! i'll probably go for the natasha then since it's a bit cheaper.. we'll see.. it's such a gorgeous bag :drool: i envy you girls that have it!!

Hi everyone! I'm so desperate for the black PTTM Natasha that I e-mailed the marc jacobs site to ask if they were going to have more at a later time. This was their response, "The bag was not produced for Spring 2011 but will be available for Fall 2011."

Do you guys think that the Fall 2011 bags will be different? I'm excited for it but I don't want to wait that long to get my hands on one lol.

I JUST acquired a beautiful PLUM pttm natasha at Nordstrom....the SA told me that the person who returned it was probably holding onto it for about a year and then decided to return it...I am totally a girls who loves her neutrals so this is a big step for me to have such a bright colored bag! This bag is the last in Nordstrom inventory in the pttm line...well right now that is. Should i keep it? is it classic?? especially the color...PLEASE help me decide!! TIA!
