I live in France and bought a cordovan sasha bag from Barney's. I think MbMJ is such a bad quality! There are black shadows on the back of the bag, two holes appeared in the leather... after 6 months of use! I called the customer service in France and they told me that "because I dind't buy it there they can do nothing for me"...come on!

So disapointed! This bag was so expensive taking into account the bad quality!

I just found a black PTTM Natasha at Holt Renfrew and grabbed it right away, but I'm feeling weird about the smaller size. I'm always a large bag type of girl (oversized muse, etc) so this feels tiny! I'm so torn......because I know I won't find a Sasha anywhere except used on Ebay :(

fongchau: my pttm sasha strap is splitting. Nothing I can't have fixed, but still. I do wish they made the strap thicker to take the weight better.

all my other PTTMs are holding up REALLY well. The sasha is for the most part, except for the strap. I wear it as my everyday bag, but i feel it might not be rough-and-tumble enough for it.

I dont know if this belongs here, but I saw the new PTTM natasha bags at nordstrom over the weekend: black, newsprint, cement, and a magenta color (sorry I didnt get the real color name). I'm guessing these are the "resort" bags? The same black/white MJ lining and the gold hardware (not the lighter gold hardware I heard about).

My sasha strap is splitting too, i took it to a leather repaired and they couldn't just restitch it because it was blind stitched but could shorten it a bit a restitch is completely.

My sasha strap is also splitting. I tried emailing the repair dept at Marc Jacobs, but didn't get a response.

llama_egg: Did they end up doing a blind stitch at the repair shop? Can you tell that the strap has been fixed?

Going through this thread for the first time now... research.

I really want the natasha or the sasha to be my next (and first mj) handbag. I'm excited and anxious. I just need to find the best deal right now.

I really want a PTTM Sasha but I guess there's no hope.

I've seen PTTM Natashas available in London recently (black, newsprint, cement) but (one of the things) putting me off is the fact that it doesn't have a magnetic closure and the flap is quite shallow. I've read one or two people saying that this means the bag comes open. Is this a general problem or is it when people tend to cram a lot of stuff in their bag?
