I wouldn’t be as insistent on jumping ship as much as building a broader relationship across the store. These SAs talk among themselves so you want to leave a good impression in general as that may naturally “up” your status and chances of getting your coveted bag. Be patient and try not to spend obscene amount of money in your quest to build a relationship. Fingers crossed that your dream bag is offered to you soon

That's a great way to think about it - building a broader relationship in the store.

Can you just ask to speak to a leather SA?
I guess I was ignored the entire time i was in that dept and it left a bad taste in my mouth especially as the previous day a man was helpful. A K Pochette is very nice that would be HG but I'd likely never get this bag offered to me due to lack of spend or whatever they use to judge and decide. If it can happen to Oprah it sure will and does happen to me:sad:

As a personal shopper of sorts this thread is interesting to me.…... Tbh I will gravitate to her for help naturally because we share a cultural background that is of course if she speaks to me again.

I wondered what you meant by 'personal shopper of sorts'
AND
what is the 'cultural background' that you share with the 'woman' who you will gravitate to for help... if she speaks to you again?

Some stores tend to leave you alone unless you ask for assistance. Some stores are very busy and you just need to wait until an SA is available. Neither bothers me and still happens after many years of shopping at H....and they don't mind if I pull a scarf or three off the shelf and play while I wait!!!

I think sometimes people go in with preconceptions which of course become self-fulfilling prophecies.

I expect to be greeted at the very least by somebody who is aware enough of my presence to move out of my way. She was standing not doing anything for the 10 minutes I was there. She wasn't with anybody either but okay. I prefer to be left alone to shop but that doesn't mean a "hello" couldn't be uttered.

they do get commission on C's as I was last told a few months ago, and it's not a quota bag (only B/K).
I just got my 1st Constance recently, and during the shopping time when I was picking up the Constance and browsing around, my lovely SA also asked me which quota bag I want for this Calendar Year: Birkin or Kelly (since I got my 1st Birkin last summer), which leads to the conclusion that Constance does not count the yearly quota. I am in Canada btw.

I’m in Canada, but have been told that Constance is part of quota bags... Honestly, at this point, I feel like the rules change based on store and SAs... Are you shopping in Toronto?

Ok I am in Europe and have never actually maxed out my quota but am told some stores have a B/K quota (2 a year, 1 in each 6 month cycle) and another bag quota for all other styles including the C (4 a year). Just to add to the confusion. This applies to FSH I am told, unless one is a VVVIP or has an excellent SA.

I referenced the quota thread a day or so ago above for those who want to discuss this topic. Here is the link again - quota discussion belong in this thread:
