My SA is leaving H. It was kind of her to let me know. I’m torn about bringing up a wishlist bag. I don’t want my last conversation to be “hey can you get me this before you go?” Or is it acceptable to ask?

UGH that is the worst. I can't tell you how many times I've had SAs / SMs leave/get promoted/transferred/fired....

I think why not bring it up but not in a pushy way... maybe tie it in with asking them if they can recommend a colleague who they think would be a good fit. "can you recommend another colleague who you think would be a good fit for me? should I transfer my wishlist bags to them? or would it be better to ask the store manager?" something like that.... this way you remind them of your wishlist but gives them an out if it's not possible, or an opportunity to be a hero!

I’m an introvert, so the idea of getting to know someone and building a new relationship again isn’t in my 2025 bingo card.

I really want to ask: “for one last surprise before you go” … lol greedy much?

So your purchase history stays with the store, and you won’t have to start from zero. You will probably still have to spend a little bit with the new SA so they get to know you, but not from scratch. Also you never know, they may have a bag for you at the appt!

It didn’t seem as though @jag was asking for a store transfer? Simply inquiring to buy a shirt that may or may not have been in the store? Perhaps I misunderstood.* At any rate, in aggregate, I would be put off by the SAs failure to communicate the policy and to acknowledge the appt cancellation and other communication.* And, I think of myself as pretty relaxed (I don’t normally worry if my SA misses or doesn’t respond to a random request of mine).

ETA: But, no SA has ever suggested that I go on line to purchase anything, even a one of item, and no SA has ever suggested that I go to the store so they can order something for me on line either. IDK

*re charge send, if the store that has it is known to be difficult, my SA tells me that, and I usually drop the matter. But, it’s not a question of price, rather aggravation resulting in no positive result.

My SA in the U.S. does not reply if I ask for any item that costs less than $5,000. If I want anything that costs less than that, I need to go to the store and ask in person. I also brought two clients who are big spenders to this SA, and it is the same. No reply if anything is less than $5k. SA didn’t tell us anything, but both friends commented that they tried to order FJ bracelets, shoes and scarves and SA didn’t reply. But that SA sends messages with photos of very expensive RTW.

Hence either I buy online or buy with the manager of this store abroad where I get full tax free and she puts all on the side for me.
