what are the other non B / K quota bags, is it constance? this is one part that i'm always fuzzy on - do they or don't they get commission on Constance? hehehe
they do, sorry for the confusion. C is not officially a quota bag and one that they do get commission on. It's just so rare as to basically be a "quota bag" :) Mgmt was thinking of making C a quota bag and one that gets lumped into the group commission, but that was not confirmed as of when my SA last talked to me about it. It's H's gift to SAs by making C a commission/non-quota bag, though again the rarity basically makes it quota'd.

Hi ladies, I was wondering..does the value of purchase history that you have spent towards a quota bag expire?

I know different store has varying policies and may not be very transparent and is not a blanket policy that applies to everyone. Nonetheless, would still appreciate the input and intel from you ladies here. [emoji1]

For example, from what I understand from my store’s system, if I bought a quota bag in Mar 17, and subsequent purchases will go towards building the next quota bag. And I’ve heard that it can expire. But I didn’t have the chance to enquire more with my SA/SM.. not too sure how they would feel discussing their policies openly.

Hypothetically, does this mean that if I did not accumulate enough to hit the quota for a bag, the purchase history for what I had spent from Mar 17 to Mar 18 would “expire” and I would need to build again?

And in an another hypothetical scenario where I have hit the minimum spend to get a quota bag from Mar 17 to Mar 18, but do not like any of the bag offers in the whole of 2018, and continues to spend at the home store, what would likely happen to the quota? Would they accumulate what you have spent from Mar 17 to date and qualify you for an exotic bag or does it expire and you build the quota again?

I know about the 1 bag / semester rule and I’m ok to not “maximize” it but I would like to be sure that my hard earned money spent at H does not “expire”... [emoji28] thus would like to do some planning to “preserve” it, if you know what I mean.

Thanks in advance for sharing whatever you know, this discussion on the financial part of Hermes shopping is all very interesting to me! [emoji23]

I don’t believe anything “expires” so to speak. I have passed on bags throughout an entire semester and there was no impact or “resetting.” In fact, I almost went the entire next semester without buying a bag and then my lovely barenia B arrived! I think the key is to maintain interest on some level. If your SA knows your wish list then they will make a case for you when a bag on your list arrives. Showing patience has always paid off (in the best ways) in my relationship with my SA!!

Hi Ladies, I have a question hope some of you knows the answer, I am base in US which only have a purchase history here, I wonder if travel to another country, like japan or China, does my purchase history shows on their system, I know Europe doesn’t but what about other countries? Thanks in advance

No, it does not. They keep saying they're moving to a unified global system but that has yet to happen.

Hi Ladies, a bit off topic but I have a bit of a dilemma and would appreciate some advice:
Last year I started shopping with a SA that is nice but I can't say I click with. Two weeks ago I purchased two non quota bags from her. Again she is 'ok' but I can't say I am positive I will get a K from her without dropping a lot of money. But more importantly not sure if we connect and I'm not really enjoying my H shopping experience , and I really love Hermes products beyond bags. Today I went to pick up a scarf from her which my SA ordered for me - she was not there but a super nice SA was there who I instantly connected with. It was a comfort level that I loved. This new SA was super chatty with me and when I told him I was interested in a coat, he walked with me and showed me some items. We chatted a lot and it was really comfortable. It's a shame because this is how I feel a shopping experience from H should feel. I wish I could continue shopping with this new SA. My question is, how do you jump ship from one SA to another without it being awkward for everyone? Or do I just continue to shop with my original SA ? I would appreciate any advice from those that have been in this predicament. Thanks

Shop with someone with whom you feel comfortable.
You are suffering from the unrealised expectations of trying to build up a relationship with a SA syndrome. This just leads to the disappointment you have explained.
The difficulty, if any, would be more for the other SA who might feel he has poached you from a colleague. (or the colleague's reaction).

I wouldn’t be as insistent on jumping ship as much as building a broader relationship across the store. These SAs talk among themselves so you want to leave a good impression in general as that may naturally “up” your status and chances of getting your coveted bag. Be patient and try not to spend obscene amount of money in your quest to build a relationship. Fingers crossed that your dream bag is offered to you soon

Thank you @PJW5813 and @Gigllee. You both raise good valid points. I love talking to people so I do enjoy speaking to all SA's there when I do go. However, I certainly wish I met todays SA earlier, it would have made my experience that much better. I think the idea of building a broader relationship may be the best approach here, very good advice!

Yes, make yourself known across the store. Just be pleasant and show your interest in Hermes.
Developing a relationship for the purpose preferential treatment and offers will lead to disaffection.

As a personal shopper of sorts this thread is interesting to me. I don't particularly like any of the bags I guess Plume, Victoria, Harnais and Oxer are my most liked styles classic in shape almost timeless but I'm happy with high street bags. I went back into Bond st today 3rd time in as many days and I wonder if it is for want of a better phrase 'worth it' to try to build a relationship with an SA there since I will only be looking for accessories and shoes at this time and possible forever. I am already going back for something next week. I've purchased only three items from two different SAs. In my initial thread I said that the women were very standoffish but today there was a woman who was in very close proximity yesterday and today she asked where I'm from and said it was good to see me etc. showed me new twillys too. Tbh I will gravitate to her for help naturally because we share a cultural background that is of course if she speaks to me again.

Leather goods don't count - mainly, bags, wallets. I think belts are okay. Bracelets and shoes are fine.
Eek this sounds crazy to me. I bought a pouch and washcloths on Wednesday and a scarf Thurs. Is the scarf is the only thing in my purchase history? Perhaps this is why they couldn't find me on the system yesterday

Funny but my coat is in the background of this photo thankfully not me face! I saw they didn't even blur passers by
