I did mention to my new SA that the shopping experience at home store haven’t been successful and I never felt valued even after spending 15k. I might have shared my experience in the location specific thread. My new SA indeed told me that I will unlikely get anything at my home store (im still far away) as it has been notoriously competitive.
Every time I hear the word "notoriously competitive", I relate it to NY, BH, SCP, SF stores. I think those are the stores with highest sales in the US.

Apologize if this questions have asked before. If i want to keep relationship with long distance SA, and can only visit the store twice a year, is that good enough to build a good relationship for something promising down the line? The store is out of my country. But i visit twice a year for vacation and in love with the SA there.

I think this depends on (1) whether the city gets/relies on tourist sales and (2) how much you spend each visit

Thank you for your response. Im thinking to shop for what i would shop monthly at my local store. All the big items i want FJ, RTW, shoes and watch. The city doesnt really rely on tourists as my SA said. However we works really well together and the SA even helped me put in wishlist through her ipad and keep me update with what ive asked for through text as well.

The other issue is that you will need to depend on luck when getting your QB offers. They can't hold bags so it will really depend on what's available at the time of your trip.

Agree that those stores generate the most income and get the most inventory. As for ease of obtaining a QB, getting the one I want, through a regular, long standing NY Madison SA relationship, is less nerve racking than Paris Lottery
