Here is my honest advice and I have been a loyal customer with Hermes for over 7+ years. @acrowcounted has given you good advice and I agree you should stay with Vegas for now.
If you can- return what you bought at BH store if it’s within 30 days. Take that store credit and spend with your Vegas SA. You already have spent $16k.
Is that 16k on all non-leather goods?
Get your QB from Vegas. Then switch stores to BH if you want more QB in future and prefer the local BH store.

Otherwise you will lose all of your spending at LV and have to start over at BH and would need to spend another $20k+ to start getting offers and probably another year of waiting time.

Hi!
Im hoping you guys can help me.
I went to Vegas for my 40th bday with my husband in September 2021. I decided to start my Hermès “journey” finally. I had made purchases here and there online before but never had any luck with my local Beverly Hills store to get any connection w an SA. The SA in Vegas was kind and helpful and decided to be loyal to her and long story short I’ve spent over $16k in the past few months. In February I told her that I wanted to fly out to see her and go shopping and she told me to not waste my time because she didn’t have any inventory and didn’t want me to get disappointed. Anyways….I’ve been trying to shop with her for scarves and some items I’ve seen online but she’s been extremely distant and very late on her relies and now it’s been 2 weeks since my text and requested items and She hasn’t even relied. I know she’s still working there.
A few weeks ago I was in Beverly Hills (my local H store) and I was connected to a very kind and nice SA. I shopped with the SA for some fun stuff like fashion jewelry, bag charm and some other things.
I’m strongly considering changing SAs. I feel like I should stick to my local store since I can’t go to Vegas that often but I can pop into my local store often.
what do you guys think I should do?? I just want to be offered at least ONE QB.
+1 with @acrowcounted

IMO stick with Vegas. I think she was being extremely honest and tried to save you a pointless trip. H SAs are really not happy about saying no stock over text. But, they don’t forget your requests. I’m sure stock will start to trickle in soon and you only started in September of last year.

BH likely has long standing clients waiting since thanksgiving for their QB, and you will start from the beginning

Yes this! I love the MP boutiques for both brunello and Hermes, but I love my SAs uptown (also I need a bigger home goods section and that’s Madison) The shoe area is so nice in MP. The store is laid out like a jewel box. Oh well! MP clients are very fortunate!
I previously shopped at Madison but I'm now an MP client and you're right, the vibe is very different there. Maybe it's also because I'm older now but I feel a lot more at home at MP! It seems much cozier and welcoming, which is maybe what they were going for because my DH told me MP was originally designed to have a cafe on the main floor.

That is the one downside of MP is that it feels like they have every department represented, but the depth in each is small. I am a mens & home shopper and the Madison selections of both are better!

My other question is - is the 'hierarchy' of spending 1) buying inventory from home store 2) having SA source inventory elsewhere and 3) having SA purchase online. I guess I am worried about annoying my SA by continually asking for things she has to order vs buying their stock.

Thank you so much for your helpful insight. Ughhh unfortunately the 30 days have already passed. I feel awful for shopping there now but I truly love shopping and just wanted to go into the store and just impulse buy and just treat myself. That’s all. Now I feel like I’ve ruined my relationship w LV store. Does the SA get notification when their clients shop at another store? Is that why she’s ghosting me now? I’ve spent the $16k+ on non leather goods but are shoes considered leather goods?

They don’t get notified but if you were requesting an item and she wanted to help you with that, the first thing she would likely do is pull up your profile and it’d be right there as your most recent transaction. You shouldn’t feel awful about it, the SAs don’t take it personally, just know that it will potentially hurt your relationship with Vegas as it makes it more difficult for your SA to go to bat for you (”but why is Susie shopping at BH if shes our client?”) and try to avoid doing it again if you want the best possible chance with the Vegas store. (And for what it’s worth, I’ve heard from my SA that buying elsewhere and then returning is even worse than just buying elsewhere.) Shoes are considered shoes; not leather goods, not RTW.

IMO, it’s good to be loyal, but you live in BH so it would have been weird if you nev e went in. Your Vegas SA kindly saved you a trip, but you still wanted a few things that she didn’t have or respond to. No one is going to shoot you for picking them up. It’s shopping, not a marriage. You’re fine. Don’t worry about what’s already happened. But, just remember SAs in the US have long standing customers still waiting for their QB, so just trust that yours will come eventually. A few trinkets doesn’t negate everything. I am friendly with my SAs, so get almost everything through them. I don’t think she is ghosting you. They really tend not to resp9nd when they dont have something or cannot source something. I think it’s important not to take it personally if an SA doesn’t respond via text. Their main priority is the customer in the store, and I also believe that H didnt allow SAs access to work phones and limited their shifts, so things slip through the cracks.

sorry, just realized I repeated some of what @acrowcounted basically said

@spape08 , of Course the SA would like to sell what is in stock, but you like what you like. Theyre happy to order stuff, Madison had a dearth of home goods in some categories last year too.

I am not an expert - but my husband surprised a xmas gift for me with a 2K purchase under my account outside my home store!

My home store is also in LV)... i've never brought it up it nor my SA. I just continue to shop with her. So far I feel she is still helpful (she was able to get me an Evelyn within minutes and even asked SM for a shipping request). So not responsive part may just be due to very low stock.

The only thing is that I am not currently after a QB and I am honest with my SA when I would be ready for one. I say just keep shopping at LV store, damage may have been done and it may now take longer to get a QB... but it is better to start all over.

ok thanks for that reassurance! I am very specific in what I like and the type of person to go directly with an item vs asking to see every tray in stock. Probably easier/more efficient for the SA too. Just didn't want to seem like a nuisance if I keep asking them to do transfers, but glad to know they don't mind. And of course I know everything with Hermes is limited stock, but I doubt I will be asking after too many things that she'd have to fight for (read: bags of any kind).

I don’t think a good SA will mind helping you to get what you want, unless you are fickle and keep changing your mind. Transfers are difficult due to Low stock situation but as long as you don’t mind to wait and may eventually even not get the item after waiting for a good many months and don’t blame him/her for it, your SA should be happy to help.

Another reason SAs may not be inclined to help - u end up buying anything in store to make up the spend for a quota bag. So, why do they bother?

If it makes you feel better … I request transfers … a lot

Hey guys, went to my store and found out my SA is on holiday (I sent a text to arrange an appointment no response so makes sense now) anyway I left the store as I wasn’t in a hurry for anything and I’d rather shop on their return. I’m just wondering would you guys wait or would you have shopped with another SA?

No rush = wait and return. Rush / urgent = buy with any other SA. So far works for me.

Hi everybody! Looking for some advise, any help is greatly appreciated!
I was at FSH paris store last august, after buying few men’s shoes and RTW pieces, same SA “found” Kelly 28 for me. She gave her business card, we exchanged couples of emails afterwards (she works in Men’s section)
Me and husband are going to Paris again, I emailed her, advising on our future visit. She replied asking for specific items we are looking for to prepare them for our appointment.

Question - should I mention in email that I would like to purchase quota bag this time as well? I will apply for online appointments too, but chances for that are not too high)
