Again-be honest.
You could say for instance "I'm never going to be your biggest spender" or..."I have a relatively limited budget but intend to be a long-term loyal customer-I'm not in a rush for a quota bag However that is a long term goal" something Like that..
I’m never really good with words :(
Thank you for this! So so helpful and I am saving this to give me some ideas on what to say :)

Hi everyone - looking for your advice. Where I live, we only get 1 quota bag per year. My one-year anniversary since my last (and my first) quota bag passed in August, and we are now nearing the end of the fiscal year. My SA asked me for my wishlist in June (specifically asking me what bags I was interested in for this year), but we have not spoken specifically about it since then. We have messaged, about other items I’d like to order, and I have visited the boutique a few times (despite living 3 hours away, in a different city). I understand that there is a bag shortage at this time, and I don’t want to bug him (I assume he isn’t mentioning my wishlist because there is no news to relay). My question is, should I bring it up when I see him next (in early November) as a simple query since the year is nearly over? I have friends who shop in the same boutique (from different SAs) and they have all asked their SAs about the chances of getting a bag this year, and have all been told “it’s hard to say.” Does the squeaky wheel get the grease in these circumstances, or do SAs prefer clients who give their wishlist and then patiently wait? TIA!
Politely inquire. I gently asked my SA about possibility for a quota bag this year and my SA seemed to genuinely think I’d gotten one already. We laughed about how the years are blending due to the pandemic and I got an offer very shortly after the conversation.

I’m never really good with words

I don’t know that I would say something like “never going to be your biggest spender”.. I’d personally keep it positive and talk up your strengths as a customer, like your loyalty to the brand and your love of the color offerings.

In full disclosure, I don’t actually have a relationship with an SA though we have a lot of Hermès in my house from various categories. Some were purchased online. So, this isn’t necessarily SA advice, but more… just general interaction advice. Ha.
I just always think it serves you better to talk up what you are, than what you are not.

Hi there! Thank you! I’m just overthinking too much but I’ll just be honest and open and hope for the best. I definitely don’t have a lot of money but I’d like to go in every few months or so to buy things that I might like. That should help give me some time to build a relationship with my SA as well. I still have a week before my appointment — hopefully I don’t overreact and just let things unfold naturally.

Definitely overthinking! Just enjoy your shopping trip and be honest with your desires and acknowledge your willingness to be patient for the right bag to come! Show your loyalty by your actions - go in regularly, be pleasant, etc etc.

Dear ladies and gentlamen,
I would like to ask you “what I can do with my SA?”.
FOA I had had the best SA ever, we had clicked .... she was my first SA. Than she moved and Hermes gave me my second SA. She moved, than she came back..... she is profesional, she is always smiling, she says things just randomly..... she shows me something, something not.... I understand the Hermes game, I am a loyal person and I really like H , but actually I have got my B in 2018, than C24 in 2019 and nothing. I have ordered 2pillows and blanket and my SA has sold them... any help?

Did your SA give you any explanation as to why they were sold?
It has been a challenging time for many H clients since the pandemic & likely inventory
& production limited
Perhaps there was an order placed before yours & you will have to wait til the next shipment
comes in
Can you try another store? Did you check to see if the blanket/pillow are available at H.com?
If so I would just order that way..

Hmmm....I think stores can order items but they cannot hold them for long after they have arrived (due to inventory issues mentioned above). I also agree that there may have been an order placed before yours and/or a VIP requested and they relinquished. Many challenges during this time. Sorry this happened to you.
