Besides not getting the B35 you wanted, have you been happy with the first SA and recieved good customer service? I also think it is advicable not to repeatedly bring up the bag request.

I really don´t think you should buy anything you don´t love and will cherish just to build up some purchase record. The picotin is very popular and there are actually customers who would love to own one. You saying you want to get one just to build up purchase history not so nice considering you take one opportunity away from someone who might truely love one.

Well, with the first SA, the customer service given in the first appointment wasn't that great, it has to do with somethings she said. but she did have the Lindy, which is why I went back. But almost everything is no stock, and I never received any updates on any stock. She is either away from vacation, or takes days to even reply to a txt...

I dont know..is that consider good customer service? maybe the Hermes standard is different for different people?

For the Picotin, I doubt he is ever gonna offer me one, perhaps just using a big number to call it a day.
But yes, I dont LOVE it, but I can see myself in it. LOL
But I think thats the magic with Hermes pieces, the love grows as time passes.

May I ask did you received one eventually?

I got 1 from another store. It was meant to be for a client who was not able to come into the shop for a month. So, I was told I could get it before the shop closed. Had to make a run for it.

Before that, I went to the shop 2 or 3 times to ask for it without purchase history.

I think with H you have to be patient. Many items can take a long time before they come to the store even if the store has ordered them. Unfortunatelly, sometimes things might not come, even if it was ordered. Has your SA ever offered to do a store transfer on your behalf? It is a bit difficult to advice when it is not clear what items you have asked for. It might be items that are really popular and therefore no point in the SA trying to do a transfer. I think from reading this forum, there has in many places been low inventory since covid started. Taking days to reply is not so bad, you have to consider the amount of customers they tend to.

I am so sick of my local franchise store and their shi77y attitude. The SA I use to have was a literal fairy. We've spent a good bit with her in 2019. Since the pandemic hit in 2020, I've only purchased 2 items: a garden party and a pair of shoes mainly because she left the company and buying items with whoever was left felt like pulling teeth.

The salesperson that are left just just so cold- even with the most simplest of questions: "Who should I work with next time?" I've tried, but I am just too old for this sh!t. LOL.

Any ladies have any tips for working with an out of state store? I am just DONE with this place and sad because it's only a 15 minute drive from my house.
If you’re thinking of becoming a regular in an out of state boutique, my advice is go somewhere you can either go to quickly or go to often enough. For example I used to have an SA in Vegas and when she offered me a bag I flew back and forth that day to pick it up. I live in California so it was a short flight. But my DH has an SA in East Coast, and has family there and we would visit a couple of times a year precovid. So we would warn her when we’re visiting and she would try her best to have an offer for me.
I try to maintain the relationship with my DH’s SA by buying something every 1-2 months, whether big or small. But it’s under his name so we use his cc. Last year when they were allowing quota bags to be shipped because of covid we paid for the B she offered me with DH’s cc. But now she said she can’t ship any quota bags anymore again; has to be picked up in person.
Time difference is kinda a pain too; I almost missed out on a KTG because I was asleep when she texted me if I wanted it, and a colleague of hers was about to offer it to their client if I didn’t reply. Good thing I woke up and saw the text before that happened.
I still maintain a relationship with my own SA in my local store. My home store is a big tourist boutique with lots of VIPs so lots of competition. But I love my SA and she tries her best for me.
Good luck!

I think everyone just needs to realize that we are in unprecedentedly low stock times. It’s not personal, the items are legitimately out of stock. Even if another store has it, transfers are near impossible because the holding store wants to keep the stock for their own sales goals. SAs are spending all day telling people, who are more and more desperate and annoyed, that they do not have the items to sell to them and are often not responding to even known clients to give them that bad news again. Also, SAs are highly favoring in person clients at this time as it is much easier to sell someone stuff that is directly in front of them in the store rather than going back and forth looking things up over text and then waiting for payment and shipping hassles. I would personally not encourage anyone to attempt to start a long distance relationship at this time as I feel the frustration will be overwhelming and the relationship not fruitful anyway. Seems like H wants everyone to shop local, imho. It’s not one particular store and it’s not personal!

Congrat! I think the big numbers on the waitlist are just their way of saying ' no' lol

The first SA She did do an instore order for the CDC belt for me, but that was when I was in store lol. Other than that, no...Yes I asked for the bk 35 blk/etaupe/gold with gold hardwares. I know they are popular item, but I thought they also have the most inventory...I could be wrong, it is my first time playing this 'game' lol..

I've learned 3 things during this pandemic:
1. If your SA doesn't get back to you right away/in a timely manner/at all, there could be many reasons ie. he/she is super busy with the many requests/wishlist desires of their other clients, the item is not available and they don't have time to tell you it is not and he/she will only reach out if they were able to source your item. Keeping that in mind, I don't get upset/hurt/offended
2. Shopping in person is much more meaningful and fun. Nothing beats 1:1 interaction with someone.
3. If something is meant to be mine, it will be. I don't NEED anything, I just WANT IT.:giggle:

Thank you for sharing :) May I ask what would you do with both stores (both sa) at this time?
I do have some other stuff I like to get, but I am not sure if I should stick with the current SA at the new location?
or go back to the first one?...

Stick with the one you actually like working with who you feel 'gets' you and your style and makes suggestions and inspires you.
Shopping should be FUN not an endless handwringing analytical experience.
Dont buy stuff strategically its a waste of money and frankly I would feel much better giving 2k to charity than spending it on an item I dont really love and will sit in a box but ticks a 'category' in order to get a quota bag.
SA aren't stupid they will know who is playing 'the game' ( I hate this expression with a passion) and an unscrupulous SA will string you along and sell you 'stuff' to make their commission.
A good SA will delight you by showing you things that you hadn't thought of but will love.
As someone mentioned earlier dont just ask for a sought after item you dont love from the get go but feel you should get because its popular or hard to get.
Just buy what makes your heart happy and your dream bag will come.
If all you want is THE Quota bag in a certain spec even though I am very anti the whole reseller marketplace just buy from a reputable reseller (It'll be cheaper in the long run than buying stuff to tick boxes) and it'll save you the angst and dissatisfaction.
