Basically, no, it is not possible in the USA unless you also spend a significant amount of money on other select items during that visit and also get lucky that a K28 is sitting in the stock room without already having someone's name on it. The last three bags that I have gotten have had upto eight names lined up to be offered the bag in succession until one of them bought it had I turned it down.
Wow! I did not know that they had the queue before we decline.

I know, it's crazy! Even when I've already verbally accepted the bag over the phone (happened all three times) when they brought out the Saran wrapped box in person, it had a stack of jumbo sized post-it note type papers stickied on top with "HOLD FOR" name on each of them.

Wow! Wow! And wow! I know for the Dechainee C24, my SA told the other SAs that I told them to keep their paws (and claws) off my bag.

Dear ladies and gents, I have a question about charge-sends. My SA had to do a charge-send to me from a different boutique. It was a clic that is no longer online and the only one still available was in a boutique in the south. Will she still get credit for the sale, or will it go to someone in the other boutique? Thank you for your information.

She will get the credit. You will see it on the receipt.

I asked my SA about this once. If I recall, she told me that charge sends (pay prior to arrival and shipped to you) get credited to the original boutique supplying it. However, transfers (transferred to the store and then you pay) get credited to your SA for making the sale, not the boutique that originally had the product. Hope that makes sense.

Yes, it does. Thank you!

While the sourcing boutique will get the credit for the sale, on the receipt, it is still credited to your SA (with their SA #) for making that sale, which would count towards their personal goals. Technically, that would touch the topic of building the relationship with the store vs the SA. In the ideal case, to appease both the store and the SA, it is good to have the item transferred first and then buy it. But not all of the sourcing boutiques would agree to that.

In fact, a H boutique refused to charge send two popular items (which they have plenty of) recently because they want their own SA's to get the credit of selling them.

When I first started working with my SA, she made sure that the items got transferred in before I buy them so that I have more history with the store, not just with the SA. That makes bag offers easier as the SM needs to approve.

At the end of the day, it is up to you to decide.

This is exactly right. There are 2 considerations of sales credit- to the store and to the SA. Transfers are great, for this reason.

Transfers can sometimes get tricky if the store that has the item thinks they can sell the item in their own store. They just become a hassle for your store to try and procure.

Therefore, and also to meowlett’s point, some stores will also not do a transfer if they have the item coming. This way both the SA and the store get the credit for the sale. I think as long as you provide your list and have some patience, this is ok, as you want to not only support your SA but also the store. This also saves the hassle of asking another store for what may be a coveted item. My store assured me that things in my list are coming.

Hey ladies, I was just wondering how do your SAs remember your wishlists? I figure they have many clients so how do they even remember? Do you FU often? Etc

I remind my SA and SM all the time. Sometimes it’s very subtle, but I always make sure that my store has my updates list. I also make sure to send complete lists, especially before Podium.

When exactly do the SAs head to podium? Thx!
2x per year with the next Podium upon us, ordering for Printemps/ Ete 2019.

Thanks so much! So is it rude to ask your SA directly to ask their SM to request an item from your wishlist at Podium OR do I wait for my SA to mention it? Also, what two months of the year are the best times to go through wishlists with SA...just in time for Podium? Makes chances higher I would think, right? Thanks in advance for helping me with my novice questions!! :)
