What is a normal response time for a SA to get back to your email?
this depends on the store,
my local SA/SM in london gets back very quickily
the one in FSH Paris takes quite long, and response time varies and is unpredictable
the one in Hong Kong checks whatsapp and we communicate frequently. we dont use emails though i do have her h.com email

Has anyone ever rejected their Podium Order, as in, not purchased it just because they changed their mind. I’m having second thoughts about mine and wanted to know if this is an H relationship killer?

i would worry more about keeping an item I would not like in the long run, especially it is something that I am having after second thoughts rather than the relationship. Also, i think this may depend on how popular the item is, so it isnt always a H-r killer as one may see it, if the store can offload to the next customer

You can reject any PO or SO. I reckon it makes a huge difference if you explain to your SA why. This way they would better understand your taste and collection.

Dear all,

I asked my SA to transfer a few things for me and it has been over 1.5 months and I still haven’t heard about anything yet. Any opinions or tips on how often I should ask my SA about the requested items that are under transfer? I’m based in Europe and the previous transfers have been very quick like within 2 weeks max.

However, their stock manager has recently resigned and think that’s why things got slowed down a bit. But I know they still get other customers’ requested items in these days.

I don’t want to keep bugging my SA but I do hope she is following up on my requested items as I’m going on summer vacation and will be away for quite a long time.

Much appreciated!!

You did not mention if you had asked about the progress of the transfers.
I got the impression that you had not. In the light of your previous experience it seems perfectly reasonable that you should ask, or even begin to chase orate least find out why it is taking so long.
We all know that H works in wondrous ways, but you need to keep on top of your request so that yours is not the one that always gets put at the bottom of the pile.

Thanks dear,

I tried to ask last time I was in store which was about 3 weeks ago and she checked and said it was still processing, then I was actually in Paris a week later and saw one of the items I requested so I messaged her. She replied due to the resignation of their stock manager it has not arrived but she will do her best. But now another two weeks passed and I haven’t heard anything yet.

Should I ask her to check again? I’m going on summer vacation in a month and I really want to have those items (jewelry and shoes) with me on the trip [emoji20]

Sometimes I find it difficult to balance between nice and ‘too nice’ with my SA...like I always try to think the best of her by only transferring the products I know for sure I would purchase instead of transferring items I’m unsure of. But on the other hand do I put myself on the bottom of the relationship?

Thank you very much again for your thoughts!

Are the items available on the H website? If so I would casually mention how you are so bummed that it's taking so long to get them in because you were ever so hoping to have them for you trip on date X and maybe I should just order them from H . com so that I'll have them in time...? *innocent look here*

You should have bought what you saw in Paris.
It would have been quite justifiable as your SA had not been able to supply them in your home store, even if for reasons beyond her control. As such she should have understood.
I agree that we want to have a pleasant association with the people who provide us with services, but you should remember that your SA is providing you with a service and you are giving her your valued custom.
I suggest you contact her quickly and explain that you want these items for your holiday and ask if she can get them asap.

Is it not mandatory to purchase items prior to having them transferred? I was assigned to a new SA this year and if an item needs to be transferred in he has required me to purchase them prior to transferring it. This is for everything from twillies to fine jewelry.
