That's odd, I would think maybe sa1 has too many clients/sales compared to sa2. If you prefer an sa, just let them know and they will have to let you work if your preference. I've talked to my store about these issues and if you tell them you no longer want to work with a certain person, they will honor that.

Is maintaining a relationship with a particular SA > simply maintaining a profile with your local store in terms of building up one's strategy towards purchasing bags?

How does H really see customers who mainly - though not exclusively - buy online (and pick up web purchases at a local store)?

As a newbie to the brand who likes shopping online, I am still wondering how - if at all - I can find an SA to work with in the long run? I recently made my first H purchase ever at my city's only store (notorious for being extremely challenging re: even starting the conversation about leather with any of their SAs). The SA who served me encouraged online purchases without hesitation (even though I was hoping to find a SA to work with....maybe someone I can reach out to for phone orders re: non-leather goods such as bracelets).

You are not establishing a relationship with anyone if you are buying online. If I see something I want online I email my SA, she obtains it then I go purchase it at the store. I recommend visiting the store a few times, see if you hit it off with a particular SA then communicate and shop with him/her only. You will organically build a relationship with them and the conversations about future bag purchases will be easy to have.

How difficult is it to obtain a gold Constance wallet with an established SA relationship?
I don't think Constance wallets are that difficult to get. My SA always suggests one to me every visit because they know I like the bag and, I think, because they are the most expensive wallet. As long as one exists in some store somewhere, your SA should be able to transfer it over for you. Send them a message or give them a call. :)

Do you think it's ok to give your wish list to more than one SA (at different stores in different states)?
Yes, people often have multiple relationships at different stores depending on their shopping and travel habits. Purchase history is linked to your account, but I don't believe wish lists are... so why not share it with SAs you have relationships with! You never know...

Thank you for replying dear! It confirms my thought that I won’t get another bag until July within Europe. Plus I’m travelling alone this time so I have no one else I can register the purchase under.

But it’s ok! I can still go to FSH and admire all the beautiful display and products they have and most importantly, enjoy Paris! [emoji4][emoji4]

I would definitely try for a bag at FSH as long as your Europe home store isn’t in France! I have friends who have purchased bags in different EU countries and no problems getting a quota bag in Paris.

Others may disagree but I really wouldn't suggest shopping with more than one SA within a country under the same profile, if you're hoping one day for a B/K/C.

I totally get your point but also think it depends how the primary SA relationship is going....if you are getting the run around or you are not satisfied then I say by all means cultivate a relationship elsewhere. Personally I don’t owe anyone an explanation about where I shop, but I do demand good service and if I don’t get it I can move on.

Whatever you do it is important that you are in control; if you choose to favour one SA with your purchases makes sure you do it for the right reasons; do not let this preference prevent you from taking advantages of any other opportunities that might come your way. You should always remember that you are the client parting with your money; do not expect any favours; to do so courts disappointment.
Think - what do you do if your favoured SA is on holiday, unwell or is 'no longer with' your chosen store. You are not buying the right to favourable treatment.
It is important to remember what your roles are.

Really? My concern is also the 6 months rule as I just got my mini Kelly in March so it’s only 2 months ago since I was offered the quota bag.

But maybe I can still try, the worst is getting a no. That’s is to say if I get an appointment as I only have one full day in Paris [emoji28]

Thanks for your feedback dear!

I’m curious dear Tpf’ers. At Hermes store, who is the head of the operations there? I am confused with the titles - Sales Associate, Supervising sales Associate , Closing Manager, Store Manager, Store Director. Where does the buck stop? I.e who is the ultimate decision maker at a given Hermes store? Thanks in advance...
