Thank you that's good to know! Yes I live in London. Been to NBS recently and came across a really helpful SA in the silks department, he was so helpful I am planning to buy all silks from him in the future but just don't want to set my own expectation too high that this will lead to something.

Just another thought - don't expect SA's to be mind readers - not everyone who shops at Hermes is angling for a B, C or K.
If that is what you really want, be upfront about it and let them know.

Does anyone know if a SAs receive commission on non-quota bags? I know they don’t receive commission on B/Ks but I’m wondering about say a garden party or jige ...
Yes they do - it goes into a communal sales / commission pool so they don’t get it based on individual sales, but they get it as a group / store based on overall performance. Same with silk sales.

Thanks for answering my question. You guys are just too cool. I only asked because I was going to order a GP from the Hermes website. And although leather purchases dont count towards spending profile for quota bags, I wouldn't want my SA to miss a commission if I ordered it online.

Dear all,

Hope this is the right place for my question.

I have spent the past 2 weeks to read through the whole thread and I must say I learned so much! I just started building a relationship with my SA about 4 months ago and I am very happy with her. She tries best to locate the stuff I want (most of them are not available or ordered in our local store) and so far I got everything I want! Last time I visited the store she even reserved a Rodeo for me, which I was very appreciated and did bring it home.

So here comes the question - I was offered a mini Kelly in BE with palladium hardware in March which I gladly took home and as much I love and adore it I can't stop dreaming about a K25 or K28 for more practical use. I have a Paris trip coming up in early May and I am having a dilemma now if I should try to get an appointment and see if I can score a bag or should I wait until my next bag coming from my SA later (assuming I will be able to get another one hopefully this year?)

My concern is 1) as I am within Europe I guess the system is linked so FSH can see I just got a bag in March and hence might not offer me one? 2) If I did get something will this jeopardise the relationship with my SA and my local store? 3) In our local store we need to fill in a 'wishlist' but we can only submit 1 bag at a time with 'one' specific model, size and color. Which means it might take a long time before I can get lucky and receive the offer that matches exactly as I submitted while in FSH you can tell them all the wishes you would like to have.

Should I just stick with my local store to show my loyalty to my SA and be patient or should I try the odds in FSH?

Any thoughts or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If your profile is indeed connected with FSH then you will be unable to purchase another B/K until July so all the loyalty concerns are moot.

Will you be traveling with anyone else? If I were you, I'd try FSH under someone else (a new) profile. I wouldn't so much be worried about the disloyalty in buying a B/K only from FSH, but I personally wouldn't buy anything else on a profile which your home SA can see.

I don't believe your profiles are linked. Ie. International stores can't see your purchase history in the US and US stores can't see your international purchases.

She states that she is in Europe as her home store.
Oops sorry. Then yes technically your SA could see your other purchases, but similar to the US that doesn't mean it should harm your main relationship if you buy at other European stores. I buy occasionally at other stores in the US when I travel and I don't believe that affects my relationship with my home store SA.
That’s not what I heard - this changed recently and all purchases are now visible internationally.
Has this been confirmed? I heard the same but thought it was still pending.

Thank you for replying dear! It confirms my thought that I won’t get another bag until July within Europe. Plus I’m travelling alone this time so I have no one else I can register the purchase under.

But it’s ok! I can still go to FSH and admire all the beautiful display and products they have and most importantly, enjoy Paris! [emoji4][emoji4]

Thanks for your advice! I think if I do see something I like in FSH and it’s a hard to come by product I’ll still go for it! But no major purchase this time - which is also fine so I can save up for the beauty that might show up the second half of the year [emoji6][emoji5]
