I actually like that LV allocates some items for in-store purchases, and not just all pre-order. I like to see and buy things in-person, so I rarely pre-order.

After pre-orders for wave 2 started in the US, I saw the resale market get flooded with wave 2 items for sale. It wouldn’t be fair for Kusama fans to only buy resale because stock was bought-out by pre-orders. Not every Kusama fan is an LV fan, so not every one of them will have a CA or account history with the company.

If you’re really concerned, send a message to your CA. It’s possible that your pre-order went in as a deposit, meaning the store is anticipating to receive stock, but didn’t actually order it. This happened to me with a recent purchase. The item had to be transferred from another store and was “available” to buy at the store where I placed the deposit/order. Texted the CA and by the end of the day, the bag was pulled off the floor and “sold” to me.

This is what happened to me when I preordered for the catogram collection. I preordered items that I saw in my store and others but my preorder wasn’t being filled. That is when I stopped preordering ..

My pre-order was paid in full on 18 March 2023. Everything paid up and yet I don’t get my item. So someone walks into the store and decides, wow, they like that and pay for it on 31 March 2023…. That’s ok for them because they get all the cash, while I wait aimlessly till “Mid April” for my item to arrive? It doesn’t seem fair to me.

If my pre-order was a waitlist and I had not paid a cent, I think it’s “fair” that they don’t allocate one to me yet. But how is not fulfilling a paid order a norm? Shouldn’t they make it a priority to fulfill orders first? I guess, this is the last time I will pre-order like this.

Hello LV forum.

So long since I stepped in, of course did in by the YK collab.

1st wave wasnt much for me but the 2nd pumpkin wave.

Only SlGs for me.

Got the Romy cardholder. This is the back park, the front is with slots abd orange pumpkin! And and a pumpkin tab too!!! Too cute

Where did you do the preorder, through a store or online? I did mine online and paid in full for the items but noticed the stores were getting items just like you said. i didn’t want to pay again or cancel and not getting the items but it was frustrating .. I think online and stores pull from different inventory.

You didn’t ask me, but I pre-ordered through my store. My store already received my items, along with the other items for anyone to buy for launch day (today).

I bought the Pumpkin PO today and the SA said the print is embedded different than the prior screen print, so it should not rub of? I hope it is like that and they improved it!

Saw it today on the launch event! So so pretty! It was not for sale. So probably only for show off.

Here a pic aside my Kusama Alma BB. Not so matchy matchy, but that should do for size comparison! Btw. the bag charms are a tad smaller, so not huge as indicated online.

It fit the airpod pro case. But that‘s about that… :doh: But so so cute… So coin change will fit.

Ive though about trimming a credit card :giggle: not the strip or chip the other end
