LV x Kusama Collection 2023 - what to buy??

Oh interesting! Mine sent me a link to pay and she said it will be shipped to my house. I don’t buy a lot of LV items so I thought thats how preordering works!

I did my preorder over the phone and immediately got a link to pay. She even said the items themselves should be available on the 23rd or something (I won’t get to them until April though; I’m picking up from a store and I can’t get there earlier).

Wow you are both really lucky. I don’t know why I need to wait unless it has something to do with my store. I’m certainly no VIC and am only ordering small items so I thought that was why I had to wait. Can’t wait to see your items!

I find it interesting that the price for the zippy and neverfull are both priced lower for part 2 items than part 1 items.

I thought it was because they had to come up with a new technique to do the painted dots, whereas the pumpkins are just printed on the way they do every special design.

I was thinking that as well. Plus all of the negative publicity YK has gotten (YT had people making videos about it which I only read comments about TBH).

I bought this lovely On the Go PM with red calfskin and white dots last month. Very roomy and a real eye catcher !

Yes, the colorful dots are a different technique and also 3D like on top of the canvas. Thats why the price is more expensive here.
The pumpkins are just printed on the canvas, nothing special.

This is the second time I'm buying something from my SA and that store , so let me assure you that I am no VIC. Maybe it's store policy.

I ended up preordering the coin purse, which appears to be about half the size. I like the charm too, but I don't know what to do with it. It's far too big to use as a key chain and won't fit into my mini bags.
What are you using it for if you ordered one (or plan to)?

I ordered the pumpkin charm coin purse but probably only use with my bigger bags.

It looks like preordered items are starting to arrive at stores, just have to wait now till release day. Hope everyone got what they were looking for or able to find it on release day. I feel the collection will be better once seen in person, especially the RTW.

Yes my SA said mine came in but have to wait til the drop date too. I’m excited to see this collection in person.

I have no idea, as those aren’t criteria I use! I pick from the ones that appeal aesthetically which are also functional for my lifestyle. I don’t have that many luxury bags nor unlimited funds, so I also prefer to get more classic/famous models (e.g. I preordered the Keepall 25 from this collection). That’s probably what I’d try to do if I was wanting a bag to pass on in the future.

I’m at an art show today which is bag watching heaven, and have passed several YK pieces! Bags and RTW. Also the red Neverfull from the original collection.
