For all my Aussie LV lover's where is the best LV store in Sydney and Melbourne? Any fav SA's? Going to spending quite a bit of time in Australia in a few weeks, and as always I need to shop! :yahoo:

Thx!

I've made six purchases and plenty of reconnaissance missions. The three stores in Sydney are Bondi Westfield, The Rocks, and the main one - Castlereagh Street in the city. Castlereagh is my favourite, and I've never had a bad experience there. Sometimes it gets busy, but you just have to wait, like anywhere else.

I second Elle's recommendation for the Castlereigh St store in Sydney.

I highly recommend Vincenzo as a SA if you can find him, he's usually on one of the counters near the door when you walk in (tall, black/grey haired Italian man). He's absolutely fabulous and chats to my bf and I every time we go in.

Ooooh I know him! He sold me my very first LV - the Cabas Mezzo back in October last year. It was only my second time in the store and I was so nervous, but he was great. Lisa is also great, she mainly hangs around upstairs.

Is Lisa the lady with the dark blonde, shoulder length hair? If so, she is awesome. I also dealt with a younger Japanese lady who was very sweet as well (I think it was Yumi?)

Definitley Catlereagh Street. If you can, visit the store during the week, it isn't as busy.

Vincenzo is great, & I think Lisa has also assisted me.

Have fun shopping. Where are you staying in Sydney?

No, Lisa has dark hair that she normally ties up. I was helped (browsing only) by someone very helpful with blonde shoulder-length hair on the weekend though.

I wonder if these SAs read this forum!? :graucho:

In Melbourne, if you go to Chadstone Shopping Centre speak to Melissa at LV, she is wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and down to earth. If they are busy and she sees me in the store and is unable to catch up with me (if she sees me browsing) she will call me on my mobile phone later in the day to see if she can help me. Now if lm about to purchase something l call her first to see when she is in and whatever l am interested in looking at she will put aside for me - it is always ready to look at when l pop in. She has given me the store number which the 1300 will never give out.

Hey I was in there on Saturday! Maybe we walked straight past each other

I know who Lisa is now and the dark blonde haired lady was probably Sarah? She usually hangs out with the Mahinas, SCs and Antheias.
