This is going to ruin my birthday list... the leopard stole only dropped by $60 but I'm already thinking 'oh that's reasonable' :push:
I spend my tax return on LV too, but I won't have one this year :pout: Stupid health system freezing contracts...

I'm really looking forward to my tax return. I left my job in March to try a new career direction, which means more tax back for me and a "back to work" purchase in the near future! As soon as I secure a new job (fingers crossed in the next four weeks), I'm hitting the shops!

Someone mentioned on vogue forum that price decrease was only for a few weeks? Any more information on this?

It would be unusual to have a price decrease for only a few weeks, instead of having a sale. My thoughts (purely speculation on my part) is that the decrease is to encourage us to buy from our own stores rather than waiting for overseas trips, given that the Aussie dollar is holding up reasonably well.

Yeah that's why I don't feel too bad about this one because I got the Brea PM in Pomme. Love the colour. I was actually told it's all sold out, but when I dropped in the store, the SA managed to get one from the back - she said someone else cancelled the hold. So I got lucky. That was on Valentine's Day. I almost left it too late and missed out on Pomme.

Just checked the US site on the MC insolite wallet, seems to have dropped USD$90!!! ( that's the only price I was keeping tabs on since it's the only item I was going to get)... not sure about other items though. So it looks like it has spread to the US! :yahoo:

Does anyone know if it is the same for stores as well?

I'm not 100% on this but I highly doubt LV will increase prices back up in July, two months of a lower price isn't long enough... if they increase prices I would've thought it'd be in Sep/Oct.
