So I decided to call on Friday to check in the status as they said about a week from the placement on the order I can check in. Client services on the phone transferred me to the store I ordered from (where I paid my deposit) and to my shock an SA at the store said the order was unfulfillable! I was heartbroken and shocked and told him I was willing to wait as I really wanted this piece! He said he could try source one by end of day but if he couldn't I would have to 'reorder' and it would be another 4 weeks wait :sad:
At that point I said ok please let me know but deep down I had kinda lost hope and expected nothing, albeit disappointed as paying full deposit still did not guarantee the item at the end.
However a miracle happened and he soon texted me saying he had found one and I could pick it up on the same day! I rushed after work to the store, showed them my pre-order deposit invoice and another SA went to find it in the back, she disappeared for about 10mins and I was nervous wondering what the hold up was and I saw she came out empty handed.. I was so anxious and worried they sold it to someone else! She asked if I got the text to pick up, and I name dropped the SA on the phone who told me he sourced one and showed her our text exchange. She went back and this time she found it, saying because it wasn't boxed she didn't see it initially! I breathed a huge sigh of relief!! What a journey to get this item, so many emotional rollercoasters up to the last minute of me picking up the order!
I was over the moon and asked how they managed to source one when my order was deemed unfulfillable, and they said someone had cancelled their pre-order just after I called. I guess I'm still curious how this pre-order system works as I wasn't sure if I was technically supposed to be next in line to receive the item, and why they even accept pre-orders when it seems like they might not even fulfil them! And what order to they decide on when to 'distribute' the available stock to? Either way, SUPER HAPPY it worked out in the end for me, and goodluck to everyone scoring the HTF items on their wishlist :smile:
Oh wow, it was not a smooth journey but I am glad that it worked out in the end for you. I find the explanation from LV that someone had cancelled their pre-order just after you called hard to believe. They may have stuffed up your order or sth like that. I don't think it's impossible for them to source it overseas for you given you had already paid for your item.
 
Wow that’s the first time I heard of buying restriction in AU! What/how much did you buy this year? I bought a few stuff this year, more so than usual, as I am bored and restless.
I also don’t receive perfume samples in any of my online purchases.

PS. Has anyone else encountered a delay in their return? I returned my Montsouris backpack and it’s been nearly 3 weeks since it was delivered back to their warehouse and still no word... I was told it could take up to 30 days but oh my, that kinda discourages me of buying unseen...
I actually bought quite a fair bit during quarantine time in April/May period as many hard to find items popped up. I was not planning on buying some of them but given they are hard to get, so I thought I should add them now rather than later to avoid another round of price increase. I think I bought more than 12 pieces, most of them are slgs, a few of them are from the escale collection. I bough only 3 bags if not counting the Pochette Accessories as a bag.

I did receive perfumes if my orders were placed directly with a person at Client Services. If it was online order that I placed directly from the website, there was no perfume included.

3 weeks for a return is a long time. I have not come across this long return period with any of my returned items. Normally it would take a couple of days.

Next 2 years is too much ! They should make sure to check client’s purchase history on every purchase, instead of letting go over the limit and then banning for 2 years !

They ignore resellers but prohibit genuine customers from purchasing
I absolutely agree with you. They should have warned me instead of letting me go way over my limit and ban me on a random day. I had a long conversation with a person at Client Services today. The lady said she apologised that the ban came as a shock to me. They will review and take in my feedback ie do proper audit of customer purchases in a timely manner and give prior warning to customers who are approaching their limits etc. In short, the lady said it was their global policy and there was nothing that they could do further. So I reckon I can take a break from LV and save money for the next 2 years.
 
If am not wrong count resets every year and i think you should be able to buy early next year- may be check with your SA
Thank you for the info. I will check with my SA once stores are reopened in Melbourne. I am not happy with the way they treat genuine buyers who had to spend so much time and effort stalking for the items while ignoring resellers. Well, as I only buys canvas bags and slgs, not scarf, fine jewellery, leather bags, clothing etc where they make more money, they don't really care as I am not classified as their potential clients
 
At first I did, but she said they are running out sample. But I assume, she knows that I want it. I was hoping the next purchase she will give, but I guess I was wrong.. Lol..
For now, I don’t put high hopes anymore on perfume samples, my only hope is just she will give dust bag for my zcp which I lost and she said she can’t give. I am still hoping though.. I bought zcp from LV and I lost my dust bag when I move house, I have asked her 3 times for helping me and she always said she can’t give. I am willing to pay for it if I have to, she still said can’t. :annoyed:
oh my lord, how come this SA is so strict/tight? It's not the end of the world to give you at least 1 sample...it's not her profit anyway.
Can you try to ask another SA in store for the dust bag? I asked for a spare box from an unfamilar SA as the one I received from online order was way too big and he gave me a smaller one.

Wondering if anyone knows if the Alma Bb in DE can be secured on the website? Its out of stock at the moment but all the other prints have been in stock for a few days. I can't go into a store as I'm in Vic and I don't have an SA. Wondering if I need to stalk online. Thanks in advance if anyone knows anything :smile:
Yes I saw the alma bb in DE a couple of times on Lv site. This bag is not that hard to get I believe. Can you ask Client Services to source one for you?
 
Finally got the email for mini PA! I enquired over a year ago and got an email last week. Paid and waiting for it to arrive in Aus. The lady on the phone actually said it would also come with perfume samples! So not sure about there being a minimum order $ to get them.

Im desperately trying to get my hands on a pochette accessories but CS won’t even put my name down for one they say the list is too long.

Has Anyone been able to get one via the website / in store without pre ordering?
wow congrats! a year to wait for it is super long... what print did you end up getting?
