I recently purchased the Palm Springs Mini and was wondering if the alignment on the front three flowers was fine or if I should go and exchange it. I’ve seen others that are a lot worse but I feel like the middle flower isn’t matching up perfectly. I don’t buy many bags so I want my piece to be perfect but I also feel like it’s probably impossible to find one that perfectly aligns. It seems to look fine depending on the angle. I’d love to hear your opinion! Thanks so much

In my humble opinion, this bag is lovely and the alignment seems very good. But if it bothers you, you could try to exchange? Personally, I’d keep it. I kept my imperfect mini PA due to rarity, but it was only an SLG so not really comparable.

Personally I would be happy to keep it and also considering it is hard to purchase in my country. But I can see how you might not be 100% happy with it. If it really bothers you and you are happy to wait for the exchange (whatever the time period might be to find one you find acceptable) then why not try to find one that you wont always be thinking about the alignment.

So I decided to call on Friday to check in the status as they said about a week from the placement on the order I can check in. Client services on the phone transferred me to the store I ordered from (where I paid my deposit) and to my shock an SA at the store said the order was unfulfillable! I was heartbroken and shocked and told him I was willing to wait as I really wanted this piece! He said he could try source one by end of day but if he couldn't I would have to 'reorder' and it would be another 4 weeks wait :sad:
At that point I said ok please let me know but deep down I had kinda lost hope and expected nothing, albeit disappointed as paying full deposit still did not guarantee the item at the end.
However a miracle happened and he soon texted me saying he had found one and I could pick it up on the same day! I rushed after work to the store, showed them my pre-order deposit invoice and another SA went to find it in the back, she disappeared for about 10mins and I was nervous wondering what the hold up was and I saw she came out empty handed.. I was so anxious and worried they sold it to someone else! She asked if I got the text to pick up, and I name dropped the SA on the phone who told me he sourced one and showed her our text exchange. She went back and this time she found it, saying because it wasn't boxed she didn't see it initially! I breathed a huge sigh of relief!! What a journey to get this item, so many emotional rollercoasters up to the last minute of me picking up the order!
I was over the moon and asked how they managed to source one when my order was deemed unfulfillable, and they said someone had cancelled their pre-order just after I called. I guess I'm still curious how this pre-order system works as I wasn't sure if I was technically supposed to be next in line to receive the item, and why they even accept pre-orders when it seems like they might not even fulfil them! And what order to they decide on when to 'distribute' the available stock to? Either way, SUPER HAPPY it worked out in the end for me, and goodluck to everyone scoring the HTF items on their wishlist :smile:

Very typical LV sales game. Very likely there was just one stock available in the store and the SA on the phone knew it - so he/she cancelled your pre-order and transferred your store credit to place the order on the in stock bag.

Because you first showed the SA in-store your pre-order receipt, so he/she went to the boxed section to search for your item - those boxes should have customers name tag or something on them - but apparently your item actually haven’t arrived. So later on when he/she found out whats going on, he/she found the item in their warehouse.

But as long as you get the item, its good :)

If you are not 100% satisfied, go and switch it. But with mini palm springs, maybe you have to wait for a couple of weeks for the exchange and there is actually no guarantee that you will receive a better bag. LV is producing hot items with increased volumn and lower quality control to remedy their loss of profit.

Just wondering.. Does anyone purchase any monogram cloud collection from AU ? I have placed my order since early June, and till now my SA said they haven’t receive it. It’s weird to me because I saw it available online last week and now all sold out. What happened to people who already placed their order ? Worry about my order. I have paid full and I really like that collection. :sad:

Pre-orders and stock on launch are from different systems. You might need to wait for your order to be fulfilled.....
