Hi Newbie here...The new Equerry is for Camilla (per Daily Mail) His name is Capt. Ollie Plunket.

A kinsman of the 9th Lord Plunket, Ollie has a robust physique similar to Thompson’s but, at 28, is a decade or so younger — and, unlike Thompson, is unmarried
Thanks, We knew about Ollie, were asking about King Charles OTHER equerry, the Marine.1671241539247.png

Kilt and Johnny fans, please stay on topic. Equerries are interesting but not the topic of this thread unless they happen to be wearing kilts.

We let this thread stay open because it is pretty popular (and usually fun) and Johnny does have some quasi celebrity status; also there are celebs in kilts in here as well.

But it definitely pushes the boundaries for this forum, as Johnny is NOT really a celebrity. Just a guy doing his job.

We are not going to have more threads about him, or other equerries or other regular folks doing their jobs, interesting or hunky as they may be.

Thanks for understanding !

As much as I think it would have been an enjoyable thread, I do have to agree.

What a lovely, lovely thread.

:girlsigh:
Yes it is a lovely thread. It is my first "go to" if I am feeling a bit down in the dumps, like when I took the Christmas cake out of the tin and promptly dropped it on the floor! I thought of the two second rule and immediately picked it up and put it on a plate. I now have a slightly damaged cake (which will be covered with icing and slightly burnt hands which will keep me off dishwashing for as long as he still believe that I am hurting!
