Now, we all know how accurate The Crown is, but in the storyline that follows the love story of Princess Margaret and Peter Townsend, they made a big deal about how it might be considered "too much" to require an equerry to be present at Sandringham and away from his own family during Christmas. It made sense to me when I watched that- it does seem like a lot to ask of anyone. Maybe times have changed and now it's just part of the job.

Who knows. I wish them all the best!

Now back to kilts!

I wonder is he still married? Since Charles is king he doesn’t wear his wedding ring, then out of blue an article that he is happily married , and his wife (ex wife?) has updated her profile pic with their son on Facebook and she neither wear a wedding ring, he constantly bossing around with the royal family, always with them, such a loyalty, it looks fishy to me, is a saying that if a man doesn’t spend time with his family is not a man, anyway who knows what happens behind close doors, I wish to him and to his family all the best

We all noticed the absence of the ring in early October. And, I havent seen it since but I didnt want to write that or ask, anywhere bc I am hoping it doesn't mean anything. It is an equerrys job to alwasy be with the Royal family. And it is a HONOR!
LtC JT is a career Army officer so is away from his family most of the time, as was my Marine husband.. He wife was accustom to the absences but we have no idea whats going on now and thats ok. When his time is up as KC equerry, Im assuming he will go back to his Regiment and hopefully his family ..but?????
I do not have facebook so I haven't seen anything new about Mrs Thompson so its all a guess.? Perhaps? she couldn't take all the women all over the world drooling over him..??? I feel as if I would have been proud as punch to have the SMA as my husband!!? .
Its very interesting to me now to watch all the equerries doing their jobs when with KC, the Q and PofW.

Happy New Year to all of Purse Forum and all the KILT wearers we love to watch..

Also, I have NEVER seen THE CROWN and don't intend too.. . OR the FAKE, silly NETFLIX fiasco..

Oh poor Johnny freezing his... Well anyway, haven't they learned anything from that dreadful todger saga...? It's bitterly cold today, I would not be out with bare legs if they paid me!

That's not his summer jacket. This is still the ceremonial one. From my observation it's worn when KCIII has some sort of military engagement (like a visit to a regiment/church service for a military related thing or person).
