It took almost five months for my Accordion wallet to be repaired. It was sent to France for the repairs and I‘m extremely happy with the results as the wallet looks almost brand new!

Here are pics of my recently repaired Cabas Alto and Montsouris GM. Both look brand new! Even though I only requested a leather replacement on the Montsouris, the hardware and the fabric straps also appear to have been replaced! Had to wait a while (sent them both in Aug, and got them back in Dec & Feb, respectively).

Wow, such amazing repair results on both of your bags!! It was definitely worth the long wait to get your Montsouris GM back. Enjoy your “new” bags.

So excited to hear of everyone’s experience with repairs on their LVs!
Waiting for my petite noe to arrive back from getting all the vachetta replaced, including strap. Was originally quoted $720 and 12-14 weeks in late November but was invoiced for $660. LV had it for 14 weeks. Will post pics when I receive back next week! So excited!

14 weeks ? My quote was double that @ 28 weeks - I wonder if peeps are refurbishing rather than buying new due to the crazy costs !! ?? I guess I'll see it right before Christmas season :facepalm:

Here in Europe we quoted max 9 weeks , but once it was on the system it went down to 6 weeks .. And I heard for some , they even received it after 4 weeks .. :smile: My guess is that for you outside the EU , the replacement parts comes from Paris and right now the leadtime for all goods are double than before . Just my guess why the repair leadtime in the US are so long..:smile:

:shocked::shocked::tdown:

Oh sooo sorry....i can't really complain !! What were you having fixed ??? Are you able to track progress of your item ??
I’m having the rivets and zipper pull changed on my Poppincourt Haut. I ask my CA every so often and he says they’re working on it. They might have a hard time locating the parts. Online it just says that it’s in progress. :sad:

I got a quote for repair of DA Eva, for replacing the little leather tab for the D-Ring and a new replacement leather strap, in November, mailed it right before Thanksgiving. I got the invoice this morning to pay for the repair. So it has been almost 4 months from the time I started the process till I will receive the bag.

Seems like a long time to wait for a small repair? However, I’m sure it will look beautiful!

Here’s the reveal….before and after pics. My petite noe from 1991 (MIF)! (Old style without the full vachetta band at the bottom which I always preferred.) After years of being well loved, most of the leather at trim and strap were dry and cracked. It was time for a change! Took almost 4 months to get it back from LV… All new vachetta, strap and drawstring. They added a D-ring inside. All the canvas and rivets are original but lost the date code :(. …..

I love the large drawstring bag “ Louis Vuitton” it arrived in. Even received a personalized handwritten note from the person who repaired my bag (?!). Nice touch!

Instead of the Petite Noe strap, I might just use the longer 16mm mono strap that I’ve been using on both my mono Loop and PA mono. Makes it more carefree and I can wear crossbody. Too much vachetta scares me!
