Wow! Glad yours was repaired so quickly. I just called to inquire and they advised me it will take 16 weeks due to the parts for the PSM being on back order. Guess there's nothing I can do about that. :oh:

I sent in my Montsouris GM at the beginning of August and it originally had a completion date of 10/22 but it was just bumped to 11/19 (so 14 weeks now). Bummer.

That sucks. :frown: Make sure to periodically log in and check your portal. I've been waiting since May 22nd, but about a week ago the portal updated and advised me there was an issue with my repair. I called in to check with my SA and at that point, they offered me a brand new bag instead! I hope your bag is repaired asap, or maybe the same might happen to you! I heard there are major delays on replacement parts.

I put in my repair June 13 and it's taking sooo long, says repair still in progress. I'm going to cal tomorrow and see what's going on. I wonder if they even received all the parts yet.

I received voicemails from LV last month stating they they were still waiting for the replacement parts to arrive, but the estimated completion dates for my repairs have not changed (I currently have two pending repairs, both supposedly due to be completed later this month). I have zero expectation that they will actually be done this month, or even this year, tbh. I will call them once the due dates have passed to see what is going on.
 
I just had the full vachetta replaced on my large Noe, and just picked up two weeks ago, and dropped off in mid-September. So they quoted me 10-14 weeks and it took exactly 3 months, if not a little less. Worth the wait. Looks like a brand new bag!

Oh nice! Pictures? I have petite noe in for full vachetta replacement. Can’t wait! I sent it in Early Nov and it says it’s in progress. Quoted 10-14 weeks.

(My order is for replacement of cracked vachetta straps on my vernis Bedford bag). Just trying to figure out how backed up they may be right now. Thanks!

Good to know! My petite noe was received by them late Nov, (not early Nov like I thought) and estimated to be finished mid March. They recently moved it up by a week. I’ll post if things change or if I hear back!

I received one of my bags in December and the other is currently on its way and should be arriving this week. Both were vintage items (Cabas Alto and Montsouris GM), so it was probably harder for LV to source the replacement parts for them. Total turnaround time ended up being approx 19 weeks for the Cabas Alto and 25 weeks for the Montsouris GM. Original quotes were approx 8-10 weeks. The Cabas Alto looks flawless, like a brand new bag. I can’t wait to see how my Montsouris turned out — I’ve missed her so much! I just sent in another bag for a repair (vintage Sac Shopping 60); she’s quite old, so I imagine it might take a while for the repair (esp since she needs new rivets). I’ll post pics of the Cabas and Montsouris later this week!

UPDATE, in November 2021, they decided they could not repair my Fascinante bag (glazing issue) and gave me $2350 credit.
I'm so happy!! I got a Poudre Rose NeoNoe and a Juliette ballerine rose wallet! What a great deal, since i only got my Fascinante for $1400+ in 2012-2013.

There has been so many delays! My bag and my sister bags both took over 6 months to repair and they ended up not being able to repair mine!

I brought my purse to a LV store in Montréal for repair last August and got it back in November. The part that was missing was replaced but hold on… It came back with another part missing? Yep the loop for my lock got unscrewed from my purse and missing or at least it looks like that since the screw was left there without the loop. I was really disappointed and mad also - how can the repair centre sent back a purse that clearly someone had taken out that part??? Anyhow, spoke with the Manager who did not seemed to care that much and decided to send it back to the repair centre in California they say. It’s now mid February the repair was supposed to be sent back for quick repair since they are the one who damaged it.

The system says that the repair was supposed to be done by Feb 4. No update’s have been done in the system and it’s Now February 11! Called numerous time the call centre and they told me that it seems like they are still waiting for the part. Sent an email to the store rep and she replied to me that she would follow up and get back to me with the status.

I remember her telling me to keep my lock and key before sending it to the repair centre to make sure it does not get damaged… red flag
