There's most likely a cloth tag on the inside that says "Made in the USA of imported materials"...MIU bags haven't been stamped like the MIF and MIS ones for several years now due to some piece of legislation or another stipulating that the imported materials must be declared to the consumer or something like that.
Ohhhhh, I looked somewhere else and it said SD can be both? Where do I look for the tag on the inside?

I'm about to buy the LV speedy, 30, does being in the sun speed up the Patina or damage the bag in anyway? Because I'll be going on abroad for 3 months to india and it's boiling there and I'm planning to use the speedy there for most days :/
Any idea weather using the bag in such hot Condtions will be okay? And can slmeone advise me on the best way to store the bag?

Yes, being in the sun will make the vachetta patina faster. I'm familiar with India and even pollution will create havoc on your handles. I'd advise to try to keep the bag out of the sun and to wipe it down (especially handles) with an alcohol and perfume free baby wipe at the end of the day.
Because it gets SO hot, keep it in a cool, dark (preferably AC) space in its dustbag, that's how I would store them. All the best and have fun!

Thanks for the advice, keeping that In mind I probably won't use the bag as often as id like to during the day when it's so hot but in the evenings it can be really breezy so I will Definitely take it out then

I bought my speedy b 35 in January. I was thinking of selling it and decided to take some pictures. I realized that I couldn't seem to find a date code and called the boutique I bought it at the next day. They told me they couldn't help me find it over the phone but could help me if I brought it in. I brought it in and they couldn't find it and said oh well it probably doesn't have one then. Then they made it seem like it's my problem that I want to sell it.
I called the hotline and got the same response. I'm worried that if I do try to sell it that I will get some pushback especially since I usually go through yoogis or fashionphile and they don't ask for receipts as proof of purchase. Am I wrong to be upset about this? I have been a customer for 6 years now and have spent in the five digits with this company. I am not thrilled at the lack of customer support and this turns me off of buying lv anymore. Do any of you have recently purchased pieces with no date code?

I can understand why LV doesn't care that your Speedy appears to have no date code. These codes are internal codes used by repair specialists. The customer is not even supposed to know there are date codes! As you know, they are not a guarantee of authenticity either.
I would continue to look for the D C in the Speedy, just in case you missed it. But if the bag is authentic, then there should be no issue with reputable resellers.

Serious question, what do you want them to do about it at this point? There's really no sensical resolution on their side so it makes sense that they wouldn't really care much.
