hello ladies, I wondered if you could give me your opinion on whether I should keep this bag. Its really ' me' . I love outrageous animal print whether in fashion or not and I love Lanvin frame bags. I got the bag for half price but i am sure you know that is still very high end price so needs careful consideration.
I am not usually a chain strap girl but the chiffon covered makes it feel better. Do the bags really get bald patches? Any info appreciated.
Does anyone else own this one? TIA

hi there! i really love your new lanvin - i also have a leopard pony-hair bag (recently posted pics a few posts above this one) and i haven't experienced bald patches yet. i think if you're not careful with it the fur would scrape off, but i'm pretty careful with mine.

i vote you keep it, as lanvin has really done a great job with the animal print. i'm the opposite of you - i normally don't do animal prints, but when i saw the leopard happy, i just had to have it b/c i think lanvin managed to make the leopard print classy and just perfect.

If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated. I've found this Lanvin tote that I'm really liking http://www.cultstatus.com.au/product_view.php?id=1113
Its the Cabas shape and similar to the Amalia but is different with the double ribbons and slightly different shape?-more depth?
Want to know what season its from and if possible, the original name? Or any other info...
Also those with lambskin Lanvins, is the lambskin very fragile and unforgiving? I've got a lambskin Chanel and I really have to baby it but I'd like to be able to use this Lanvin on a more regular basis.
Thanks! :D

I can't speak to the bald patches question, but I think it is a great bag. I love the look of it. I'm like you and love leopard print. Regardless of whether it is "in", I think leopard print is a classic way to spice up your wardrobe. GL with your decision!

LOVE the new addition BHmommy, it's such a gorgeous colour for this style. Looking fab!!!

a recent purchase from the lanvin boutique in paris - teal quilted happy! the lovely SA (who was very patient and offered wonderful service) said this teal color is exclusive to europe. i've only seen this style quilted happy in black, mastic, and cream colors for sale in the U.S., and always thought 'if this comes out in a pop color, i'm all over it!!' ... and voila!

second pic is my lanvin happy collection; teal quilted with her sister pony-hair leopard happy. :cool:

:drool::shocked::faint:
Oh, BHmommy, congratulations on your new gorgeous teal happy...but the leopard happy just made me faint! I think it may be my (newest ;)) HG.

I love leopard too, but am very picky about the exact print. And I agree with you that that leopard is perfect.

Love your H silver bracelet too, btw.

La Comtesse, thank you for your very kind words! right now H and lanvin are my two biggest obsessions. you can imagine my amazement and joy at seeing BOTH the H and lanvin stores right across the street from each other on rue faubourg st.-honore on my recent trip to paris :p
