the blue leopard happy went on sale on the lanvin site. pink power python might go on sale eventually... it's normally black that never goes on sale.

thanks so much, hannahsophia! I can't believe I missed that blue leopard! I'll hold out for the pink python to go on sale then. Just bought a blush pink Chanel, so that's satisfied the pink craving for a bit ;)

oooo! Nice! congrats. i'm eyeing the bright pink or bright orange lanvin happy... but will probably wait a couple more months before purchasing. considering it's snowing in nyc right now and all!

I sent my chevron happy flap to Lanvin for repairs (a couple spots with loose stitching), and after almost two months, I got a call saying that the bag had been to Paris and back - yet apparently the seamstress had missed a spot, so I received a brand new bag as replacement instead. If only Chanel does the same thing!!

for those of you that own Amalia bags (not the tote or Cabas version, the original Amalia) -- do you consider a good size for every day? can it hold more than the Happy?

^I was very much surprised! I tried on the Amalia in store once, and I didn't like the zippered closure, didn't think it 'stretch' as much as the Happy sac. Would you consider the Large Happy?

No, I already have the regular size Happy, and I really don't like that front pocket on the larger size. I love the look of the Amalia, but always thought it would be too small for me. I saw them at Nordstroms yesterday and altho I didn't try it out, it looked larger than I had originally thought it was.

I didn't quite know that they have pretty amazing replica of lanvins' bags.. *after reading this thread* I was quite shocked
I won this item and I am unsure whether it is authentic, I can't tell from my point of view because I am a newbie but I truly adore them..

when I saw the amalia in person I thought it a lot larger than I imagined as well. I think it can hold more than a happy because the happy looks best not overstuffed.

I agree, the amalia is bigger IRL than it looks in online pics. It is one of my favorite styles.
