^^ i bought a lanvin happy bag from barneys last year and they only gave me the dustbag, no box.

sandy-I know, I was tempted by the beige one too but I figured I could get more use out of the black one. It's classic and elegant and I can use it year round whereas I would probably only use the beige as a spring/summer bag.

I haven't got a chance to wear my Happy yet since I can't carry my textbooks and Mac in it.Hopefully I will get some use of it this weekend. But so far I like it both single and double straps.

iluvmybags, this is horrible news! I am so sorry this happened to you.
I hope you get your money back without too much hassle.
I will have to be very cautious if I purchase a pre-owned Lanvin now.
I have two preowned and two new. I read your other thread and looked at the comparison photos. I thought this was not a problem with Lanvins and I am
really sad that it is now.

thank you so much :flowers: -- I did get my money back. eBay had to force the refund because the seller just vanished once I returned the bag -- up until that point, she had been communicating back and forth and was actually quite pleasant (I had even considered giving her a neutral FB rating rather than a negative because she did ship quickly, she was pleasant to work with and even once I opened the claim, she was cooperating & communicating regularly - once she disappeared, I had no choice but to give her a neg rating) I also let her know how disappointed I was that she didn't abide by her "Authentic or 2x Your Money Back" guarantee -- altho I knew that ebay couldn't enforce this, I let the seller know that she shouldn't make such statements if she couldn't stand behind them and actually provide proof of authenticity!

I also found it very unsettling how authentic this bag appeared. To be honest, I never even considered that this bag could be fake until I found them on iOffer -- I just didn't think it was that popular of a style and/or in such high demand. The fakes I did find were rather unsettling --lots of fake Happy bags and Amalia's -- I'd be extremely cautious buying either one of those on ebay from now on. It's made me so paranoid, now every Lanvin bag I've looked at, I've second guessed whether or not it was authentic.

If anything, I hope that this experience has opened my eyes as to what to look for - I'd hate to give up on the thought of never buying a Lanvin bag on eBay, but I will definitely proceed more cautiously if and when that opportunity arises

Hi ladies! I'm a total Lanvin newbie (am usually hanging out in the Chanel forum) but I've just seen the Lanvin happy medium in powder pink python and IT IS LOVE!!!! Would anybody be able to tell me if the the happy medium ever goes on sale, or is it a classic bag that always remains full-priced? If anybody could offer an opinion on whether bags like the pale pink python sell out really quickly in general (do people generally prefer the regular skins for Lanvins? I'm loving them all!), I'd be so grateful!
