How did Proenza Schouler make the list for tPF's Readers Choice Awards, but Lanvin did not? I get that PS is hot right now due to the PS1, but that's ONE design that was created two years ago -- what about all the styles and designs that Lanvin keeps generating year after year?
There are probably an equal number of threads and posts regarding both designers (no sub-forum for either one)
I understand why every single designer could not be included on the list, but to omit a long-time designer such as Lanvin (esp with the introduction of the recent H&M line!!), in favor of a relatively new handbag designer such as PS, well that doesn't make much sense!
Anyone else surprised to see that Lanvin didn't make the cut?

For those who have the Amalia bag... did any of you spray it with anything? I got a Amalia (ish) hobo bag (pics soon... I promise) and its a pale pinky rose color. I'm super nervous to use it and am wondering if I should spray any type of protection on it.

Does anyone know where I can get the ribbon for the lanvin bags. i found an amazing buy at a consignment shop but it is missing the ribbon.

^^It's just a plain black grosgrain ribbon so you should be able to find something similar fairly easily from your local haberdashery store or fabric/trim specialist.
