yes, on the Lanvin website, the Navy Leopard is on sale for $1243, while the PonyHair Leopard is $1750. According to the website, the Navy isn't immediately available, but I think that means they have to order one from Paris.

The Quilted Mastic is actually on sale right now at Lanvin Boutiques for 30% off. I imagine that the Leopard Print Happy is also 30% off ay Lanvin boutiques, altho I'm pretty sure they only have the Taupe and not the Navy. Not sure what other colors (or styles) may be on sale. You should call to find out

Barneys had several Happy bags on sale for 30-40% off, but they're no longer on the website. Your best bet is to call to see if they still have any in stock or if maybe someone recently returned one

Since the Leopard Print went on sale at both Lanvin.com and Barneys, I would imagine it got marked down at Nordstroms as well, altho I'm not certain -- at the very least, perhaps they price match altho they don't have the Taupe Leopard on the website & that's the only color that Nordstroms carried

do you mean the u.s boutique? or even the paris boutique? do you believe that if i order the quilted mastic from paris i can get some discount??

Don't get me wrong -- I LOVE the Navy Leopard (if my finances would have allowed for it, I would have kept both!), but once I got it and got over the initial excitement of having it, I couldn't get the Mastic one out of my head and kept wishing I had at least SEEN it in person before making my final decision. I also began to think that maybe the Navy Leopard was a little too trendy for a bag like this, which is a bag I want to have forever. I think I may have tired of it after a while. But the Quilted Mastic is definitely not trendy - it's very classic (and classy!) and it's definitely a bag I could see myself carrying today, tomorrow, next week - ten/twenty years from now!

^^ Not the best view of the bag but this is my black lambskin Amalia tote.

Looking sideways it is quite slouchy even full and because the bottom isn't structured the bag tends to sag so I don't think it looks like a traditional structured tote. HTH :)

^^ No probs :) You can only carry it with the double straps over the shoulder - it's too soft and floppy to do the single strap thing.

Congrats on both your quilted Happy and the leopard pochette by the way. Both gorgeous choices. I soooo wish Lanvin.com would ship internationally as I'm tempted by quite a few of the sale items!

I'm so glad I swapped the leopard for the quilted Mastic -- I am so happy with that bag and now I feel content w/my Happy!!
and thank you for the addtl info re: the Amalia -- I was kinda hoping that it could be carried with the longer chain since it would be far too short for me to carry it with them doubled up. Is it impossible to carry it that way, or is that your personal preference? (doesn't the top of the bag snap closed or is it open?)
