juicy, which one? I think they're ALL outstanding! :D

The Partage is definitely one of THE BEST bags, ever - so functional and well-made, and like nothing else!

Happy is adorable, so shabby-chic, great evening bag! I only wish it fit a little more so I could carry her on more days!

And Polisson is... a very, very cool piece. Lanvin metallics are awesome, they always do great techniques with the leather, and this one is covered with a zillion tiny metallic dots. It changes color in different light and adds "OOOMPH" to any outfit, goes with everything, fits the kitchen sink, and is so comfy and easy to carry! I instantly feel cooler with it ;)

I've been getting into the Lanvin bags as of late ... Rosa, Partage, etc. The quality of the bags, the leather, the workmanship, etc. is SUPERB ... alas, the [FONT=&quot]$€£¥[/FONT] can be insane!!. I think we need a Lanvin thread in the "Premier Designers" area!!

Just to start the ball rolling, here are some of my additions ...

The Metallics are especially insane ... remind me a lot of the old Balenciaga ('04/'05) Metallics; buttery soft and metallic saturation!! I don't know how they do it, but they do it superbly!

I'm totally in support of this idea! :D

Lanvin produces such unique, high-quality bags, and they're not as widely distributed or easily available as some other brands... And, they don't repeat the same styles over and over again - and like you said, CeeJay, they're really creative with metallics!

Here's another example of a great metallic bag - the Polisson!

I concur ... a friend in LA had a Kentucky bag and I always remarked on the leather; it just seemed to get better & better over time.

They're pricey bags, but the quality is really outstanding ... and the Metallics are just AMAZING!! I'm a huge metallics fan (have MANY of the Balenciaga Metallics from the '04 and '05 seasons). I have to say that Lanvin does the BEST job with the Metallics; they are subtle & sexy ... yet provide just the right amount of *bling*!!

slinks and CeeJay - your bags are to die for! I agree that there's something really special about Lanvin Metallics - they just have so much more dimension that the usual specimens!

I'm a fairly recent convert to Lanvin but I've been so impressed with the quality and functionality, not to mention the awesome design details. Waiting for a Gold Happy to arrive and will post pics when it does!
