Yep, bought 3 necklaces from the current season, 2 more from SS09 on ebay, bought 1 belt from the current season, 2 from SS08, and the Gold Happy from the current season, 2 Kentucky from SS08 and FW08 on ebay

Oh, and of course I'm ALWAYS buying Lanvin clothes

Longchamp: Fab bag! I was contemplating on going for it, but I talked myself out of it. Is it light/heavy? Do you find it functional?

thanks! Yes easy to carry, but I like hand held bags. Holds a ton and easy to open.

I only have one Lanvin bag and it's a brown clutch that belonged to my grandmother. It's vintage although I'm not exactly sure what year it's from. I'll have to ask my mother.
In other Lanvin news I ordered the limited edition Lanvin pencil set designed by Alber Elbaz for Lanvin's 120th anniversary today.

I'll try to take some soon! It's not really anything like the bags Lanvin has today- it's a plain brown/nudish color with the Lanvin logo on it.

Longchamp: Thanks for the info! BTW, when you stuff your Gloria up, and when you open your bag, do you have to hold the bottom of your bag for things not to fall out of your bag? I love hand-held bags with single handle, but the problem I've always had with them is that when I open it while carrying the bag to take something out, the bag falls open and things fall out of it I'm wondering if your Gloria does that as well...

This AW 09 season I've bought one bag (velvet Intrigue), a belt, a necklace, a ring and a pair of lizard ankle boots. I'm going to take some pics over the holiday break.

My daughter likes this one, it's on sale, but it looks a bit sorry to me. Tired, that is. It is python, but not a very exciting example I think. She's irritated with me, because she likes it. I think she likes the ribbons and coins more than the bag. I think I'd like it in a darker color. Do I get it for her, or not?

Here's another picture of it showing more detail. Plain back, zip across front and another along the top. I'm concerned that it will get dirty quickly. She's not easy on her bags.:

That looks like the Amalia bag sunnyflies. Gorgeous style.

However Lanvin bags aren't good knockabout bags to start with, and this being delicate python and a pale colour, it may not be the best choice for someone who's tough on their bags.

Thanks to my friend tooshies, I have a new obsession - Lanvin bags! This was my first one - the Partage you see in the modeling pic. A friend of mine has the Partage as well, but the taller/narrower version, and I thought it might be interesting for anyone considering this bag to see the comparison of the two sizes...
